5 /5 Aisha Chambers: My husband and I dined at Family Coastal Restaurant in Eastpoint, Florida yesterday and had an excellent experience from start to finish. I ordered the fried shrimp platter with fries and okra, and my husband had the fried fish with fries and okra—everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and the flavors were spot on. Our server, Virginia, truly made the experience exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and provided outstanding service throughout our meal. We highly recommend Family Coastal Restaurant for great food and top-notch service, and we will definitely be returning.

4 /5 Steve Rucci: We stopped by for lunch and it was pretty good. I got the fried grouper sandwich with fries and my wife got the fried shrimp with fried okra and cheese grits.

5 /5 Nicole Kosoris: Absolutely phenomenal grouper topped with shrimp, scallop, and house-made Alfredo. Wonderful set of flavors. Also a lovely view of the ocean and pleasant service. Overall an amazing place to stop!

The place was clean, the porch sitting area is amazing, fully screened in, wasnt having to swat flies the entire meal. The staff were super attentive and friendly. The bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer, superb. We had the stuffed flounder and fried whole flounder for entrees, both absolutely amazing. Then for the small details, the tea was brewed strong and sweet, didnt taste like sulfur water like it does in most places, the sides were great, we had the cheese grits, they were great, and most people make grits as an afterthought, with no real love. Great, fresh baked potato, crispy, delicious fries. The BEST cocktail sauce Ive had, you can tell its home made, not too thick, spiced up just right. They also had a really nice looking salad bar, that we didnt have this visit. It was a delicious and amazing experience, cant wait to go back, itll definitely be one of the spots we are sure to visit every time we are in the area.

5 /5 Lisa Mann: Amazing view. If the weather is conducive to sitting on the deck, do it! We went early in a Sunday evening before the crowds came. Virginia was our waitress and she was great: helpful, friendly and funny! She can sing, too! The local radio station was spitting out oldies and she was grooving! With Virginia’s help, the four of us chose the seafood platter for TWO and there was more food than we could eat. Now we did get the bacon wrapped shrimp and calamari for appetizers but we were so stuffed and couldn’t finish it! The fried oysters and scallops were my favorites. Our fish choice was grouper.
