1 /5 M& M: As someone who works in the restaurant industry I understand when its getting close to the end of the shift everyone wants to go home, do their side works, get the stove cleaned , and get home, and when someone walks in or orders 30 minutes or 10 minutes before you its a drag. So again I would never do that!
With that being said , due to my long day as we all do I forgot to eat. So my friend orders a smashburger from here at 8:30 , mind you 8:30! it gets to me at 9:02 . I open it and the order looked like the cooks were upset , small portion of fries and parts of the burger were raw, and other parts were well . I find this out after taking a bite out of it. Not only was the burger extremely salty but the fries were cold! It wasnt a big deal to me so I said hey wasnt planning on cooking but I threw the Pattys on my stove to try and reduce the salt and even out the temperature. Well unfortunately it was still salty !
So I call the restaurant just to let them know hey might want to let the cooks know whatever seasoning or sauce is used its overly salty. Trust me I know it happens sometimes. I wasnt calling for a new order or even a refund at this point. Just wanted to let it be known, I spoke with the manager Kelly who didnt seem to really give 2 cares in the world even giggled and was like well thank you for letting me know Ill let the cooks know. With nothing being offered which I would have declined and let her know Im calling for a remake. Instead I had to let it be known during our moment of silence that I didnt want anything in return, because she said well im not sure what to do. Well dont be a manager!
I then woke up at 4 in the morning throwing up, with a hurt tummy, and diarrhea . I call the restaurant and speak with the GM Hailey who was absolutely uncaring and rude. I explained to her what happened and she said," well im confused idk how ur sick from salty, im not trying to be rude but like whats going on" well if you have to say youre not trying to be rude you already know you are being rude. Then proceeds to say well Hailey didnt call me last night so I have no clue what your talking about. Just the unfriendly approach from the beginning will never make come to this establishment. I now know why the servers complains about management here. I used to just listen to the bartenders , bc I take everything with a grain of salt no pun intended, until I experience it myself. Last night , I gotta taste literally and figuratively of what the bartenders complain about. Now I see why Kelly could have cared less, bc the GM Hailey definitely did. Dear Hailey and Kelly do better, bc if thats what you call professional its disgusting. Im definitely going to do my research now to see if they are up to health codes!
