3 /5 J.August: First time customer, went in for lunch on a Monday at 12:30pm
First impression⭐️⭐️- no hostess or greeter present, no “seat yourself” or “wait for hostess” sign. Very confusing! Tables right by door, a kiosk to order at, a hostess stand BUT absolutely no one or instructions!
Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4* based off what you’d expect in Arcadia!) *pepperoni pizza * Italian wedding soup * eggplant parm. Taste of ask was delicious! Texture of the eggplant was off and the looks of it were not as appealing. Food could’ve definitely been served much hotter!!! All food was on the warm side- not hot. But overall better than we anticipated.
Customer service ⭐️- only one server for lunch! At one point all but 2 booths full; 2 tables left as they were never even given a menu or asked what to drink after 15 minutes! One server isn’t ideal, however this one didn’t do basics, like bring silverware with meal, come back by tables to check even while passing, tables were left dirty to a customer arrived and needed so she tried to clean then, menus not given when seated, came back for drink orders instead of taking them in beginning etc… you get the drift. So tables kept waiting!! As stated meal was only warm.
Actual menu⭐️⭐️ menu is on iPad, nice efficient, again confusing! Just handed the iPad menu with no instructions (again our first time) and it has order button, one would guess that’s how you order!! But no, have to wait (and wait and wait!!) for server to return to give her your order.
Atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️ self playing piano, fun touch. Volume bit loud for the narrow dining space. I would say they did good catching a Italian feel overall. Booths are nice, very large tables as well.
I do plan on returning, will update this review.
