J&J Seafood and Chicken - Palatka (FL)

4 /5 Ryan Berry: I recently visited this seafood spot and overall had a pretty good experience. The service definitely stood out! the ladies at the front were so kind and welcoming, which really set a nice tone for the meal. The seafood was fresh and flavorful, and everything came out in a timely manner. The dining area could use a little upgrade. It wasn’t bad, but it could’ve been a bit more inviting or polished to match the quality of service. Also, while the seafood was solid, the chicken could’ve used a bit more seasoning it just didn’t pop like the rest of the food. Still, the warm hospitality and solid seafood make it worth checking out, especially if you’re in the mood for something casual with good vibes.

5 /5 Jay Baker: I have lived in the area for years and never stopped and tried J&J Seafood and Chicken. We were both in the mood for some fish, so we decided to give them a try. I am glad we did!! I had the 4 piece tilapia with fries! My significant other had catfish and shrimp. The fish & shrimp was seasoned nicely and cooked perfectly. The fries were good too. We both had enough to take home for a second meal (that I just got done eating before started this review). About a 7 minute wait time, everything was cooked to order. They were busy on the Friday evening when we went, but still got the food out quickly. We will for sure go back. They have a big menu, with lots more things to try in the future.
