3 /5 Robert Roof: I’ve been eating at La Hacienda since they were over by Hardee’s. They were always my go-to place. The owners and staff are always super nice, and the service has always been great. The food used to be great. Somewhere, in the last few years, the food has become more and more bland. The taco meat has little to no seasoning and the tacos have very little cheese on them. The birria just tastes like pot roast. They have become increasingly reliant on American cheese in their dishes. I love that they have been adding new things to the menu, but it seems to be at a sacrifice to quality. I know they can do better, and I hope they will. I took my daughter there today, and it was the first time I’ve eaten there in over a year, because my last experience was very similar. It’s sad to me that a restaurant that I used to genuinely love has one more strike before I permanently take my business elsewhere. I hope you guys read this. I’m pulling for you to improve, because you were one of my all time favorite places
