5 /5 Amy Boatright: Very cool funky old Florida feel inside. A little bit of being in a ship theme. Outside doesnt look like anything special outside. So many great dinners and restaurants are like that especially in these type areas. But believe me always good and homemade. This restaurant has Alot of great southern seafood( mostly fried to perfection ) I had the Deviled crab stuffed shrimp ,with cheese grits
and since I didnt order the salad I got a loaded baked potato to take home. My husband ordered the fried shrimp which there was plenty ( maybe not the bigger sizes you normally think) a decent portion with the best fried Okra and he did get the salad bar.Which had regular salad bar stuff.Potato salad ,macaroni salad pea salad all sorts of southern things. Of course pudding. As far as I could see every table was loaded down with tons of choices .Which this must be a huge draw to this restaurant. Of course also because of the amazing family friendly staff. Our waitress Niyonna was very sweet. Youd feel like a regular by 2nd stop. They would Rember you. So very many reasons on menu and on other notes worth going to. Make this your stop in a stretch of road that doesnt have much. Its worth it !Yes there is wine on Sunday and it was nice and cold.
