5 /5 Brian Paroff: This place was genuinely incredible. I took my girlfriend here for our 1 year anniversary because I saw it on maps and it sounded good, and we both love seafood. I found the restaurant while I was still deciding on what hotel we were going to stay at and then just so happened to choose the Wyndham Grand (which was also amazing but thats a different story). I was very pleasantly surprised to see them hand us a discount card at check in which got us 10% off on our meal here - even better! I booked us an outdoor table at 5 pm hoping wed have a perfect view of the sunset. And, well, the attached pictures speak for themselves! It was really gorgeous, beautiful atmosphere and our waiter was great. The meal started with some complimentary edamame which is always a plus. My girlfriend ordered the scallops which were so good, as well as an order of sashimi which is not my personal preference but she was visibly in heaven. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and two kamikaze rolls which were specifically recommended by our waiter (although to be honest I wouldve ordered it anyway - shrimp tempura and spicy lobster, it doesnt get better than that). No exaggeration, it was the best sushi roll Ive ever had. If I go back, Im just going to order three of them and call it a night. Long story short, I was optimistic about this place but didnt really know what to expect, and it managed to exceed all expectations. Very glad I chose this for our anniversary dinner, thanks for making it so special Ocean Hai!

5 /5 María Carolina Gallego Iradi: We had the pleasure of dining at Ocean Hai several times during our stay at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach, including the New Year’s Eve dinner, and the experience was consistently excellent. The New Year’s Eve dinner was particularly memorable. Each course delivered an explosion of flavor, yet everything remained in perfect balance. The menu was thoughtfully composed, with distinctive dishes that felt refined rather than overworked. Presentation was elegant and precise, and the wine selections complemented the flavors beautifully. It was clear that great care and intention went into both the menu design and its execution. Compliments to the chef and the kitchen team for such a well-crafted and enjoyable evening. We also returned for additional dinners and breakfasts throughout our stay, all of which maintained the same high standard. The sushi stood out for its freshness and quality, and the breakfast offerings were diverse, well prepared, and consistently satisfying in a relaxed, welcoming setting. A special thank you to Alex, who took exceptional care of us during dinner service. His knowledge of the menu and wines truly enhanced the experience. He explained each dish with clarity and shared interesting details about the wines in a natural and engaging way. Ocean Hai offers a polished yet comfortable dining experience, combining strong cuisine with genuinely professional service. We would happily return.

1 /5 Neslihan Akpınar: I do not recommend this restaurant. We came to Ocean Hai excited because it’s heavily advertised throughout the hotel and we chose it for our last night of vacation. I ordered the Korean Sea and Steak and both the seafood and the steak were undercooked/raw with almost no flavor or sauce. The server didn’t even ask how I wanted the steak cooked and never checked on us or asked if everything was okay, even though the plate was left almost untouched. Poor service and disappointing food for a bill close to $100. Not worth it.

5 /5 Tracie Boyd: We celebrated our wedding anniversary and was blown away! We sat at the Sushi Bar and James was our Sushi chef. I chose the Grouper Ceviche and hubby chose the Calamari. Both were wows! We chose to drink Sake instead of wine, Alex our waiter assisted us, after a tasting, we chose Temtaka Hawk of the Heavens and it was heavenly. James prepared an off menu Sushi which had salmon, shrimp, and other yummies, hubby had the Volcano and liked my James off menu he had one too. Both were so fabulous. Dessert....oh wow! I had the Natsu Mango Dream definitely recommend it! There is a fun reveal when presented. We could not have chosen a better restaurant to celebrate our special day!

1 /5 Dmitry Klimchenia: I stayed at the wyndham grand, and the hotel itself is excellent. however, when I visited this restaurant to order takeout food, I was honestly shocked and confused. It felt like I had been scammed. I ordered sushi and a hot dog and paid $100. I can confidently say this was the worst sushi I have ever had in my life. I swear, I have never eaten sushi this bad anywhere before. I still can’t understand how such low-quality food can exist in a restaurant located in such an amazing hotel. the restaurant looks very upscale and respectable, and the service was good. but based solely on the food quality and the price, this is a clear 1-star experience. I can’t bring myself to rate it higher, even for the service, although it wasn’t bad.
