5 /5 Lauryn Davis: I’ve never experienced service like this. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with genuine warmth and care. David went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and as someone who just moved here, that meant so much. He truly made it feel like a real community. The food was outstanding. The steak was my favorite, perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the rice was incredible on its own. I highly recommend getting all 3 meats because every single one was insane and absolutely worth trying. This is hands down one of the most amazing dining experiences I’ve had. I will be back here every day. Thank you again, David, for the exceptional service and unforgettable experience.

I have a lot of food allergies and chronic health issues that make eating out incredibly difficult, yet this place has never disappointed me. The consistency, quality, and care they put into every meal are truly exceptional. There have been days when I’ve shown up physically exhausted and in pain, and somehow I always leave feeling better. The food is warm, comforting, and reliable in a way that’s hard to find. Their customer service is just as impressive. Every interaction is friendly and welcoming, and there’s a very kind gentleman who works there that my husband and I have chatted with a few times—his attitude is always genuinely positive and uplifting. For me, eating here is an all-around experience: great food, great people, and a place that feels safe for someone with many dietary challenges. I’d recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for delicious food and wonderful service.

1 /5 Eric Vinke: Ordered (To-Go) at 6:44 PM. Didn’t receive our food until 7:03 PM. My party and I had order numbers #462 and #463. While we were waiting, they called orders up to #486. Not once did anyone come over to ask what we were waiting on, check our numbers, or acknowledge us, even though they were looking right at us. We both still left 10% tips, which in hindsight was more generous than the service deserved. What made it worse was the complete lack of accountability. No “sorry for the wait,” no explanation, no attempt to fix the situation. Just silence and indifference. This is not a kitchen issue, it’s a training and management issue. I know for a fact that if the owner had been there, this would not have been handled this way. The food may be decent, but the front-of-house execution was sloppy and unprofessional. Do better.

4 /5 Jeffrey Cowgill: Wow had dinner carry out here the other night and found it delicious and plentiful! I have had the chicken and white rice and have heard the pork is delicious too. Ordering for take out is simple on an app. Toast I believe. At any rate skip the line and there is a person handling the take out. The menu seems limited but they do it all well. Parking lot is tight and exit onto Davis Hwy backs up during rush hour. I’ll definitely be going back. Urban Cowgill January 2026 Be sure and give this place a try.

5 /5 PAUL RITZ: Tasty meal at Pounders on October 10th, 2025. It’s a fast casual place, so easy order and pay. Staff very nice, prices good, and food well cooked. Our favorite was the chicken teriyaki. A bit disappointed that the Spam Musubi was out. Hope it’s there next visit.
