5 /5 Patrick Quade: Truly felt authentic, their sauerkraut balls are sauerkraut with some sort of meat, out of this world. The schnitzel is so so tasty can’t stop thinking about it, I got the European sampler platter.

5 /5 Belle Swartwood: Amazing food, drinks, and staff. Every positive review about this place is true. We tried the fried Brie with fresh strawberries and cream and it was delicious. The margarita had fresh strawberries and blueberries and was extremely refreshing. The beef tips were tender and we got to listen to live music while eating. The plum dessert was light and hit the spot. They offer a buffet and we will try that the next time we are in. It’s a wonderful local place to stop in and eat at where the staff will treat you very well.

4 /5 Brad Weishaupt: We hadnt eaten German food in many years, so this was fun. Good food, generous portions, served quickly, and friendly workers. I started with the Sauerkraut balls, then I had the Bavarian platter and my wife split the Snitzel with her sister. Then we all split the Apple strudel. The crowning touch was live music by an accordion player, dressed in German clothing. He was very good, playing both German and American pop music. Well be back to try other options!

5 /5 Steve B.: In the mood for something a little different this is the place! Our waitress was super friendly, nice atmosphere clean and the food was great. My favorite was the sauerkraut balls, never had them before so glad I got them. The pretzel with the beer cheese sauce was amazing too A+

5 /5 Peter Losi: The best food in Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte. I have been to Berlin and the food was not as good as Sandra’s. You can tell it was prepared with quality ingredients and love. The menus had all the classic German fare and some with an American twist. There are a few days with buffets that look like a great deal. I have been in the area for 10 months and have not picked a restaurant worth coming back for till I had Sandra’s today. This is a must do if you are in the area
