Scottys Tiki Bar - Clewiston (FL)

4 /5 Edward Morton: My wife and I finally decided to stop here on June 20, 2025 for lunch at around noon on our drive back from a camping trip in Palm Beach County. Wed passed the big signs advertising the (co-located) Roland Martin Fishing Resort many times during previous trips on US-27 and finally had some spare time to check it out. Its less than half a mile north of US-27. We parked out front and there was plenty of parking for vehicles towing trailers (boats or campers/travel trailers). The restaurant (Scottys Tiki Bar) is located on the back (northeast) side of the resorts office and store, so Im not sure if its directly affiliated with the Roland Martin resort, or is now independently owned and operated. We sat at the bar since it was not that busy, and the bar tender greeted us promptly, took our drink order, and gave us food menus. My wife ordered the Homemade Chicken Salad Bowl ($14.50), and I ordered the Bang Up (spicy) Shrimp Bowl (19.68). Each of the salads were quite large (almost enough for two adults to share), the greens were fresh, and the added proteins (Chicken Salad and Shrimp) were also fresh made and very delicious. The prices were about average for the area, but the ambience was pretty nice. My only complaint with the view is that you look northward from the tiki bar towards a large lock (almost like a dam for a lake) and there is a 50-60 tall earthen berm that surrounds the south side of the lake, so you cant actually see Lake Okeechobee while you dine here. There was also a lot of green bottle and house flies that were harassing us while we ate, even though the bar had several large fans blowing to try and keep them at bay. After finishing our lunch, we walked around the corner and toured the Roland Martin Resort Store, which is kind of a cross between a ships store and fishing/hunting store. It had some very neat works of taxidermy inside and some very good quality fishing apparel (see my photos). Overall, our experience at Scottys Tiki Bar was very positive, and well probably stop here again the next time we are passing through the town of Clewiston if its during the lunch hour.

5 /5 nathan goodfellow: Always good service, cold, beers, good cocktails, always plenty of room, picnic table area, lounging area, patio area, dining area, big bar lots of seats . it’s under new management and the new manager is really putting some love into this place. It’s super refreshing to see . I dig this place and it’s good to see that other people do too . Always fun to ride the motorcycle straight up from Cafe 27 have a beer and a sandwich and then head back down to Fort Lauderdale. Nice easy 50 minute ride no traffic always a good time. If you’ve never stopped in the gift shop you should. Its got a lot of fun swag.

5 /5 Brendan Beim: We were looking for a mom’s and pop’s authentic restaurant and we found it. This place had everything we were looking for. Food was great! We had the gator bites which were a little small but delicious. Also I had the Mahi Mahi sandwich and it was yummy. The fish was so soft and flavorful. The shrimp tacos were good too. I also really enjoyed their tartar sauce. If you’re in the area it’s worth checking out. Also bring your bug spray!

4 /5 Patti McCarty: Nice tiki bar on the water. It was cool when we were there, but there were patio heaters making it comfortable. Service was good. We had the fish platter. Everything was hot and fresh, fish was really good. My husband and I agreed that the hush puppies and slaw were bland. The fish and fries were really good. Portion sizes were large, and neither of us was able to finish it. We would go back.
