5 /5 V Kyle (Jiraiya): We were so excited to try this place when it opened, and they delivered!! The sushi rolls were some of the best Ive had in a while and I couldnt pick which was my favorite because they all were. While sushi isnt their sole menu item, I cant wait to try their other menu items! Highly recommended.

2 /5 Saiyid Hasan Rizvi: Tried 4 different rolls. They had the potential to be good, but were too dry. The flavor combos seemed interesting, but without something to pull it together, it fell flat & tasted bland (and no, drenching it in spicy mayo like most other places do is not a solution). Would have thrown in a few extra stars if the service was even halfway decent. No greeting. Ordered on a screen. Took over 20 minutes.

5 /5 Alpha Rivera: Been YEARS since I’ve had sushi, of any sort. Saw that Bait & Hook had a roll pay homage to dharma southern kitchen (Which was once located in the same spot of Henry’s Depot years ago), and I had to get it.. seeing as how I worked there, at that time. Anyway, the roll is delicious, and the perfect combinations of flavor!! Mike Evans is great at his skill, and was excited to see a vegan option I could partake in. Also, the seaweed salad … also delicious!

5 /5 Joseph Paparella: A fantastic new addition to Henry’s Depot! The Bait & Hook has taken over the former Current Seafood space and is serving surprisingly high-end seafood for a small food stall. Their menu covers everything from sushi and appetizers to salads and Sandos, with an obvious focus on freshness and quality. We both ordered the Fish Sando, made with freshly caught Florida Lane Snapper. Mine was panko-coated and fried and it was perfectly crisp and golden, topped with Carolina-style coleslaw on a toasted potato bun. My wife had hers blackened, with lettuce, tomato, onion, tartar sauce, fries, and a house pickle spear. She upgraded to Nashville Fries with blue cheese and a spicy sauce which she thought was definitely worth it. My seasoned fries were thick, crisp, and delicious. They take food allergies seriously, with gluten-free options clearly marked. You order, give your number, and they text when it’s ready. We grabbed beers from The Basin and played cribbage while waiting. Friendly people, great food, and an awesome addition to the Depot. Highly recommend!
