4 /5 Jon Schneiderman: This is a beautiful restaurant located in a really nice section of Hollywood. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and vey calming.
Maya, our server was very friendly and very attentive. There was on minor issue with the service, but I really dont blame our server. We ordered soup and asked if it could come out first, before our main courses. It did, but literally only a couple of minutes before our main courses came out, not giving us enough time to eat it. I think this was more an issue with the food runner than our server.
The food was a mixed bag. The soup had a nice broth, although it was a little thin compared to the avgolemono soup we are used to. The chicken in the soup was not good,it was dry and tasteless and seemed to be old.
I ordered the beef/lamb pita wrap. It was served with a small side salad and fries and everything was excellent.
My wife ordered the Greek salad with lamb (added). The salad was beautiful, but the tomatoes were tasteless and somewhat mealy. The dressing was a little too vinegary, but that is a personal taste thing, not necessarily the fault of the restaurant. The lamb was excellent.
Overall the food was good, but not great because of these issues.
