Jen Lay My good friend and I celebrated his birthday on Tuesday 12/2 in the lounge (where a more relaxed dress code is accepted) around 6:30. We decided to come in last minute but it was a great spontaneous choice! We got sat right away at a nice booth in the corner, the server was very fast and friendly! I ordered a tequila cocktail and my friend enjoyed an old fashion. All of the food was amazing and we shared some dishes as well, so good! Loved the atmosphere and people watching!! And last but not least, we of course decided to go upstairs to the dessert room and take a kitchen/wine cellar tour…. Don’t forget to ask towards the end of your meal! Ric Rini Arrived at the restaurant on their second night of opening at their new Ybor City location. I was thoroughly impressed with the absolute fantastic ambiance and decor. If you want to get away from the chaos of Ybor and have a nice relaxing dinner, this is definitely the place(there really no other experience in Ybor like it). The decor and lightning sets the stage for engaging conversation and a relaxing mood. We sat at the bar top and Gary, watch extremely helpful in selecting cocktail mixes. We usually sit at the bar top and it was very comfortable and inviting. The entrees, were as expected, excellent. My wifes salmon entree, unfortunately was not made to order( medium rare) but more to the well side. Although it still was very tasty. However, my lamb was perfect, cooked two medium rare season perfectly with a side of grits and green beans. The food was just phenomenal. Ill definitely be coming back and it makes it so much more convenient now that they are in Ybor City.

Joshua Gathings Jacksons is great spot for fresh and delicious sushi with an awesome water view of downtown! Enjoy indoor and outdoor seating. Douglas our waiter took great care of us! Enjoyed the rainbow, harbor island, spicy tuna, and truffle wagyu roll. All were great. The Jacksons cheesesteak with marinated filet mignon was very good, melted in your mouth. Different from your original philly cheesesteak but still very good. Downstairs parking just make sure you get your ticketed validated foelr a free 2 hours!

Felicia The ladies and I ventured out once again to a place we’d never been, and it did not disappoint! It was a beautiful evening by the water—great company, dolphins making a few surprise appearances, a stunning sunset, and delicious food. Every dish we ordered was absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. I have a shellfish allergy and was a bit nervous at first, but there was no need to worry. While there weren’t many options without shrimp as the main ingredient, what was available was sooo good! The crab cake and the coconut rice were the stars of the show, with the fried rice coming in a very close second. Our server was pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience and we’ll definitely be back! Note: The only downside was the parking situation—it’s probably best to valet to minimize the risk of being towed.

Stephen Thompson We were in town and grabbed lunch before shopping at International Plaza. We had previously dined at the OP in Chicago. The Tampa location was very well ran and our server went far out of her way to give us an agenda of things to check out in Tampa. Excellent hospitality. The cocktail and mocktail programs are awesome. The chop salad was phenomenal. Whatever that dressing is, is great. Dynamite roll was delicious and the stone crab was a fun special. Would 100% recommend OP in Tampa.

Sharpey31 We stopped into Brick House Tavern + Tap since it’s right next to our hotel, and it ended up being a great choice. Walked in and got perfect seats at the bar right away. The staff was immediately friendly — just genuinely good people who seemed happy to be there and took great care of us. The food was awesome. Everything came out hot, fast, and way better than typical bar food. You can tell they actually put some effort into it. They also have a really solid beer selection on tap, plenty of options, all served ice cold. It is definitely loud inside — lots of energy, TVs going, a busy bar crowd — but the atmosphere is fun and everyone around us seemed to be having a good time. It’s the kind of place where the noise doesn’t bother you because the vibe is just good. One thing that stood out was how clean the place was. Even being busy, the bar, tables, and overall space were really well-kept. Overall, Brick House Tavern + Tap was a great stop. Great staff, great food, great beers, and right by the hotel — can’t beat it. We’ll definitely be back.

The helpful explorer We went there for New Year’s Eve. A party of 9. We had a late dinner. Our server Nick was so fun and friendly. We ordered filet mignon, salmon, lobster tails, flat breads and chicken. Amazing!!! The drinks were crafted to perfection. We had an amazing time. The best way to end the year!

Courtney Beck I had the best experience in the Tampa location. Food was AMAZING. The atmosphere was really fun and inviting, and the golf was really fun. Many options of games. Shuffle board was great. Wings tasted so good and the seafood mac n cheese was amazing. Will be back. The manager was also very friendly and welcoming while we visited.

Mind Set On Travel Can’t say enough about the Columbian Cafe at the Tampa Bay History Center. Based on the original Columbian Resturant in Ybor City, this location has both inside and outside (with heaters in winter time). Bars in both areas happy to serve you while waiting for your table. Highly suggest getting the red or white Sangria and the 1905 Salad which is made table side. The Cuban is a must have while the Chicken Dishes are plenty full. Stop by the gift store.

Tammy J I had the shrimp and grits. I was definitely pleased with my meal! It was well seasoned and the shrimp were much larger than I anticipated which was a nice surprise. There was also a good amount of them in the grits. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The bread bowl was delicious as well. The only complaint I heard from someone is that the calamari could have had a little more seasoning but everything else including the atmosphere was fabulous!

John Raises Amazing dinner experience for our anniversary! The server was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly with great input on our selections. The MM house salad was surprisingly good, Triple Play Roll Sushi was a good mix of crunchy and flavor and Lobster Mac & Cheese a winner. The steaks stole the show, the NY Strip cooked perfectly - make sure to get the peppercorn dipping sauce! My wifes filet was on point as well. Cocktails were fun, great wine selection. There was an Oreo Dessert cocktail that was decadent to go along with the chocolate cake. All in all, one of our most enjoyable dinners thanks to atmosphere, food and fantastic service!

The service was just as impressive — friendly, attentive, and made the whole dining experience even better. You can tell the staff really care about creating a great atmosphere. Highly recommend Olivia to anyone looking for delicious food and top-notch service!

Amauri Carter The server who attended to our group was one of the sweetest I’ve ever encountered. She was patient, attentive, and incredibly helpful with my indecisiveness, which I truly appreciated. I enjoyed my salmon sandwich; it was quite decent. The carrot cake was delicious and definitely worth trying. I would gladly return when visiting the Tampa area.

Noelstradamus Thoroughly enjoyed dinner with an old friend at Steelbach. The food was simply amazing. Steaks that actually melt in your mouth, they are so full of flavor. The sides were well portioned and of high quality. The carrot cake was scrumptious to say the least. I want to take a moment to draw attention to our most incredible table service, provided to us by Ms Alex...(short for Alexandria). She was absolutely phenomenal from the moment we were seated until the bill was paid. Her acute attention to detail, her passion for her job, her great customer service acumen, all exude from this young lady. When I say she was amazing, thats a complete understatement...!!! Keep up the great work Ms Alex...!!!
