micah baca Jose and his crew were awesome. My car had a transmission check engine code. He diagnosed the problem and found my transaxle seal was leaking. He pulled the axle and found out the axle was the problem. He had my car fixed that day for a great price. Jose and his crew go above and beyond for their customers. I highly recommend services from Joses Auto Repair and Performance.

Anthony Ruiz Jose was is a very efficient and attentive mechanic. He answered all my concerns and helped me to select the right parts for the job. He communicated with me throughout the whole process and the services I had done came at an amazing price. I highly recommend his shop, especially for Hondas. Definitely found my go to mechanic for all my car needs!

Came to Jim Baker’s and they fixed the same issue for way less—and they were super honest about what actually needed to be done. Got everything done fast and didn’t try to upsell me on stuff I didn’t need. 10/10 recommend if you want solid service without the hassle!

MaryLynn Albrecht Maurice’s Auto Repair was absolutely amazing!! We called with issues with my car as we were traveling. They said they could take my car in immediately. We were met at the front office, everyone was friendly and helpful, and the car was taken in back right away. They even dropped us off to get food while we wait…. We were planning to stop for food anyway, but they went out of their way to accommodate us. These days it’s a hit and miss on finding people like those at Maurice’s. Thank you so much for being awesome!!

Steve Wylie I wish Maurices was in Houston because this would be my auto shop. Had a problem with my truck while visiting Lakeland, needed it fixed fast to get back to Houston on time. Mauricess had my truck on the rack within 30 minutes of arriving. Gave me an estimate before noon and had me out the door the same day. Excellent work for a fair price, Good communication and a very nice waiting room. The most impressive thing was how friendly and family like everybody working there was which makes a difference in their pride and performance. Theyre joking with each other and the customers, greeting each other, Helping each other. Its clear they work together well as a team, and to me that makes a difference in the outcome. Maurice is personally involved with customers , helped to expedite things when he heard my situation, much appreciated.

I started by browsing online to get a sense of pricing and found a price range I was comfortable with from a local competitor. Before heading to the big box store, I decided to stop by a tire shop in my neighborhood—and I’m glad I did. I was greeted by John, who turned out to be both a sales associate and the store manager. Not only did he beat the price I found online, but he also delivered top-notch customer service. Everything was transparent, from the services offered to the pricing. The work was completed quickly and professionally. I highly recommend Tire Choice Auto for anyone in need of new tires or automotive service. I’ll definitely be returning. 5/5!

Brittany Thompson Had an oil change change here. Easy to schedule online. Dropped the car off and was pleasantly greeted and well taken care of by James. He has excellent customer service skills. No haggling or pushing to get anything else done. They ran a full diagnostic on my car which came back perfect so we didnt need anything else anyway. We will definitely be back for our next oil change!

Lance Twost I wouldnt recommend taking your vehicle here. My mother broke down in Lakeland had to put her car there, I told them please replace the fuel pump thats whats wrong with it. They call me back good news its not the fuel pump it was just the wiring harness. But thats $500 I get home to Palm Harbor my car breaks down within 10 hours. Now they wont return my phone calls wont return my text. Took my moms $480 and ran. Every time I call there they give me the runaround about we can come pick your car up and tow it back here but you have to pay for the tow. And all I was asking for was them to pay the difference to my mechanic that I have it at in Palm Harbor its sitting on a mechanic now getting fixed the right way and costing me $1,300 and they dont want to talk about my moms 500 so be careful when dealing with these people. Because they didnt replace the wiring harness in the first place my mechanic showed me. And hes putting it in writing for my lawyer

Cairo08 Dont waste your time and money with Arturo and Lakeland Auto. Arturo was supposed to resolve misfiring issues with my C320 Mercedes. Charged me $1500 for spark plugs and valve covers. My Benz still misfires... A waste of time and money.

The prices are fair, and the service is incredible. I highly recommend choosing Tobias automotive because Ive found them to be honest and organized- which are the hallmarks of the best mechanic shops in my opinion. They will help you with the issues youre facing or in some cases cool customizations too- but thats not my thing. Highly recommend Tobias as your next mechanic.

Melissa McIntyre I needed to have the reservoir for my washer fluid replaced. I was able to make an appointment online and get it confirmed. Conveniently. I took the car in and they were able to get the part and have it replaced the same day. All the staff was courteous and professional. I would highly recommend Midas on South Florida.

dawn Phillips We broke down with water hose breaking and were not from the area. Midas was right in front of us so we pulled in. The owner RJ did not hesitate to help us and pull my truck right into a bay. They were very busy and could have easily turned us away. They got us back on the road, were very courteous and caring! Roger Swinton This is the most terrible place to take your car I called to ask about why my car wasnt fixed it got paid for and soon as I got it back the same thing they was supposed to fix wasnt the light came back on my gas cap light came back on ? And when I called to ask why it wasnt fix Jimmy hung up on me and they also stole all of my fuse from my fuse box and left it open to see so that I couldnt put my own fixed sensor on to show that they didnt even find my car also they drove my car to Miami and got tolls in my name and stole items out of my car they should be Sewed and shut down straight crooks ? There name should be changed to crooks ar us

Amanda A Terrible company, stole a pair of costas out of my moms truck. Said “we don’t want your dirty sunglasses that were on your face” told me to call a lawyer if I want the go pro footage. I will do that. I hope Publix drops them. DO NOT RECOMMEND them! Woman and man I spoke to, bad people!!!! Clearly we aren’t the only ones. Involved police and hiring a lawyer. Even took out change and you can see in the photos the ford book was moved around. Also took papers with social. Edit called today and they laughed at me and hung up on me. Getting middle dash finger printed. No reason your finger prints are on the middle console right? Hope you wore gloves

trent hough Richard and his guys (and gals) do the some of the best work in central Florida on a variety of things. Have had multiple vehicles of my own and multiple family members vehicles fixed/serviced at his shop. The only place in Lakeland I don’t hesitate to recommend to anyone needing work done in their vehicle. One of the only shops I’ll take my vehicles too and not have to worry if it’s done right. Honest, trustworthy and transparent. Can’t ask for much more in a business

Mandy Bartlett We have used this mechanic for several issues with our sons car - everything from oil changes to a catalytic converter. Always on time, great communication, more than fair pricing. We live 2 hours away and its such a relief to have a reliable trustworthy mechanic that we can call on from a distance.

Brett Browning We recently had some minor service on on our 2019 Toyota 4Runner. We were having an issue with the battery so I called this company up and had them install a battery that I purchased outright. Lee arrived promptly for the schedule to work. I asked him to check out the electrical system, alternator and starter just to make sure it wasnt another issue. He ran a diagnostic check and said everything was okay and he installed the battery that I purchased. In the process of installing it the positive cable he accidentally damaged it so he said he would fix it and they wouldnt be an issue. Three days later we were out driving and the truck lost power. We tried getting it started to no avail. We tried to jump it and still nothing, we contacted his company again and did not receive a response from them until 2 Days later. We couldnt wait so we had to have the vehicle fixed elsewhere and come to find out he never repaired the positive battery cable. I contacted them after it was repaired and 4 weeks later still have not heard back from them until I received the call yesterday saying I confuse them with somebody else. I have the receipt saying otherwise and the gentleman refused to respond to my inquiry. They are not reputable, honest or professional.

Jonette Anderson I am new to Lakeland and had an excellent relationship with my prior mechanic. I was very nervous about finding a new one in a new place. What attracted me were the reviews. What has kept me coming back is the service. I own an older model Volvo, which have great reputations themselves but they can be pricey when repairs are needed. Grant’s has been excellent with taking care of my needs. They don’t do a thing without first quoting me a price and getting my approval. If there is something they can’t take care of, they are great at giving references. Kim is so pleasant, you may want to wait while your car is fixed and chat with her. She is definitely an asset to their operation as well as the excellent repair services that they provide. I haven’t had any reoccurring problems. They fix it right the first time. I’m so happy I found them and have developed trust! I highly recommend them for any foreign car services!
