Bryant Park - Fish Hunt Camp Cook: My Mother used to take me here when I was a child in the early 90s, and now I take my child here. The only difference is I dont remember 40-80 homeless people living there at any given moment or time of the day. Our local government has failed us completely. Park would be nicer if people felt safer. Boca Inlet Park - Boca Raton krazy ISH: Beautiful park & beach. Plenty of shade trees (sea grape etc) in the parking lot & picnic area. There are grills for cooking. Sand on the beach was soft. It was fun watching the boats using the inlet for going in/out of the Atlantic. We used the pavilion for our Boca Rugby party but it’d be perfect for large parties, birthdays weddings etc Sugar Sand Park - Boca Raton Otty BB: This park is absolutely amazing! There’s something for kids of all ages, from fantastic play areas to two whole spaces dedicated to exploring science.
It’s incredible how they’ve blended fun with learning. Plus, the park offers plenty of parking, everything is free, and it’s open until 11 pm.
We had such a great experience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.
Thank you for providing such an incredible place for families! Red Reef Park - Boca Raton Leeza Sadkhin: Great park, mostly locals because it’s a bit pricey for tourists. Lots of space to have picnics and grill outs! There are playgrounds and bathrooms, all the necessary requirements. Perfect spot to relax on a Sunday morning. Spanish River Park - Boca Raton Jonathan Katz: This is a wonderful park and its completely underutilized. In addition to being a great park with barbecues and facilities for larger groups it also is on the intercoastal as well as the ocean and you have access to lunch kayaks or like right from the park. Is well taken care of and also serves as a parking area to be able to go underneath A1A and go to the dog beach which is through a tunnel without traffic to the other side. Gumbo Limbo Nature Center - Boca Raton Lior Brosh: It is really lovely place to visit with family and kids and it is free of charge.
We chose to pay a donation to support this import cause of saving the sea turtles and to keep this amazing place running.
You are welcomed by a very kind people in the reception and there is zero pressure to donate. They explain about the place and how to walk around.
There are dotted guides along the route and you can tell they love their job and very keen to explain and teach.
Except the aquariums there are also nature trails and viewing tower which was breathtaking.
I highly recommend to visit this place with family and friends or by yourself for afternoon education. Boca Raton Museum of Art - Boca Raton Jodi Long: What an awesome exhibition! I had such a great time visiting this local gem of a museum last week. With two floors full of fascinating art and history, there’s so much to explore. The pictures and displays were amazing, and it’s super convenient to get to from the nearby parking garages. Don’t miss out on the gift shop, it’s definitely worth a stop! South Inlet Park - Boca Raton krazy ISH: Beautiful park & beach. People can fish on the inlet. Sand on the beach was soft. It is fun watching the boats in/out the inlet. Picnic tables grills for the cookout. Really nice park. Only complaint is parking fills up really quick! Sanborn Square - Boca Raton H G: Tacos and Wing Batttle. There was plenty of space to walk around and the area was upmept. Stage was great for performances, and plenty of parking around. Great for hosting events. Blazing Star Preserve - Boca Raton Christopher M. Smith: This was our second time visiting and we were able to find the gopher tortoise near the trail next the the interstate. He or she was eating some plants. Super cool.
