5 /5 K M: I do not attend this church but went to this location for another reason. The lobby area was very clean and the auditorium-style area was nicely set up. The only thing I would say is a negative is that the stage at the front has way too many cords littered about it due to the musical equipment around. Several times during my event those on stage had to work around the cords to be safe.

3 /5 Tony Goudie: Was a first time guest. Was greeted by a nice woman upon entry but that was the only interaction I had with anyone on staff or volunteering for the rest of my time there. Worship was nice although i was expecting to end service with worship. Pastors message was also good, spoke on the topic "Hail Mary". They have a notes system where you can text a number have have the sermon noted oulled up which I really liked. The reason for the 3 stars is because not once was there mention of the overturning of Roe v Wade and I was disappointed to see that. Was expecting a mention and prayer surrounding the decision.

JL Warren: We attended the Sarasota first United Methodist Church for Easter Services 2024.. We were greeted warmly by members, and invited To place flowers on the Easter cross. This beautiful sanctuary had absolutely stunning stained glass windows! The music was absolutely outstanding —with pipe organ, full choir, brass and drums. Service was traditional with Easter Bible readings, messages, hymns, and prayers. All in all and absolutely wonderful Easter morning: we felt that we were greeted and participated fully as a part of this Christian community and worship.
