Volunteers easily identified by lanyard with large red placard and their name easy to read. Coffee shop. Book store child care. Outside picnic tables to go sit and talk. An auditorium that is incredible. Worship team is incredible. Pastor Scott is excellent. Already know 3 peoples names in 3 visits. Hopitality center is warm and inviting. The church steeple unlike anything I have seen before. I think I found my home at Hope

Family-friendly, single, young marrieds, everyone is welcome and has a place! Lots of opportunities to serve, plenty of life groups, and a real feeling of being family.

Angel A.M.G. I went two Sundays in a row while on vacation and it was a wonderful experience. Dans sermons were spirited and genuine, and the church is very loud about loving people the way Jesus would (and does) --- something that made us feel welcome immediately. The music here is beautiful and powerful, too! I was moved to tears each weekend. Great job to those singers and musicians!

Amy Hunt I have had the pleasure of knowing Pastor Peter, his wife and family for several years but only started calling Hope City my church home for a little over a year now. I am so thankful for the church and the people I have met there. There is something there for everyone and the kids programming is amazing! Dawn E Scire Really enjoy walking this campus. It has great scenery with tranquil courtyards and pond views (places to sit, too). Lots of people walking dogs here (tho they really need to keep them on-leash as bobcats and coyotes live here!).

Jeremiah Nolet A fairly young church that is truly being nurtured to grow by God, the atmosphere alone makes you feel like youve entered holy grounds. The worship and teachings are biblical and gospel based, teaching the eminence and personal salvation of Jesus in each of our lives. They certainly started as a home grown church and the feeling of friendship and intimacy is still there even after theyve grown into a large congregation. I recommend checking it out if you are looking for a church or wanting to experience what it means to have a relationship with God.

JL Warren We attended the Sarasota first United Methodist Church for Easter Services 2024.. We were greeted warmly by members, and invited To place flowers on the Easter cross. This beautiful sanctuary had absolutely stunning stained glass windows! The music was absolutely outstanding —with pipe organ, full choir, brass and drums. Service was traditional with Easter Bible readings, messages, hymns, and prayers. All in all and absolutely wonderful Easter morning: we felt that we were greeted and participated fully as a part of this Christian community and worship.

Natalia Spinelli Annual Hispanic heritage festival is great! So many countries represented! Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Spain, Nicaragua, Mexico, Peru, Salvador, Columbia, Argentina, Brazil…. Homemade food! You purchase tickets and use the tickets to purchase food! Efficient system!

Lin Liana Okay. Well, I came to this church not long ago. And I dont know Russian or Ukrainian, and none wanted to translate to me. I was sitting there listening to something i didnt understand. After the preaching stopped, none tried to go up to me and talk to me. I was just there standing alone.
