Jenn DeBeers Rishel: One of the most authentic churches I have ever been. Pastor Jason is genuine and real. The moment I set foot here I felt welcomed and loved. Jason and the rest of the pastoral team speak Biblical truth, whether it is hip or not.

Farmhouse Tables: If this pastor grew up in the Church of God as he claims and his father was a pastor, then he should know that its a shame for a man to have long hair. The COG no longer believes the Bible and neither do its members....so carry on.

Angie Chavis: My daughter and I went for our first visit this past Sunday. Everyone was so welcoming and really just engaged Us in the service. I love the location and I love the way that everyone worshipped. When we arrived we got this cute little gift bag with a Note Tablet inside, an ink pen, a giving envelope, a connect card, and a note card that went along with the sermon that day. This was really cool.

Melissa Dent: I don’t attend the church. However, I believe by chance I briefly met a man named Paul, he recently moved here to Jacksonville and from Texas and attends this church and serves on staff on the worship team. He came in for a consultation in my office and in finding out his occupation - learning he has 18 years of pastoral experience - I took the liberty to ask a few questions that I recently started having regarding leadership and ministry in evangelical faith communities. Questions that I’ve been praying on, asking my believing friends about- never getting a really great answer. His answer was simple, yet profound, “love is our greatest tool of discernment” It was a simple reminder of what is true, but also exactly what I needed to hear to have things just “click”- it was an impactful reminder that God is listening, He cares about even the questions that we may feel are insignificant to Him, He sees our wrestle, and He wants to give us peace. Thank you Paul- for your time and your true worship= living and walking through life carrying the light on the hill. If Paul picked this church of all the churches in Jacksonville- then I would say it’s a great one!
