1 /5 doug K: My wife and I attended the stations of the cross on Good Friday, this past week and to our surprise and anguish, the stations did not mention the sword peircing Jesuss side, no mention of laying in the tomb, and many others. They did not read from the accepted liturgy but read about illegals and compassion, how sick this world is, to show compassion for women who FEEL abused, about violence to illegal women, and so on. We were very disheartened that they took away from Jesuss journey to the crucifixion to preach their liberal ideas. The pastor of this church should be ashamed and the parish likewise for accepting this and to make a mockery on this very solemn day.
