1 /5 Kristen Loreth: Got a call to change my appointment from 4 oclock to 2:20, and hour and ten minutes later I still have yet to be seen. Not sure why my appointment time was changed if it was still going to be at the original time. Nobody has an answer when you ask. Will be changing providers this isnt the first time Ive dealt with this situation

1 /5 C C: My 78 yr old mom has been a patient of Dr Roque for over 13 years. After being diagnosed with a serious illness 3 yrs ago, I’ve been accompanying her to the majority of her medical appointments. I accompanied my mom to an appointment today to review test results since there has been a change (for the worse) in her condition. During this visit, she questioned the diff between her last two test results and he mentioned 1 specific test was high in a previous test so my mom and I questioned why she was never told. His response was everything’s fine now so don’t worry about it in a dismissive manner. I questioned him again because of the way he responded and he became very angry, sighing several times out loud, looked up at the ceiling, then said “I’m done” and walked out. My mom and I were shocked because we were just asking questions. He yelled at me stating he didn’t like my attitude and I just ruined the relationship he’s had with my mom over the years. He asked me to leave and he will continue the visit with my mom. I asked if their interaction could be recorded because she will not remember everything discussed (one of the changes in her condition). He walked out of the examination room then returned a few seconds later. At that time I asked why he was behaving in this manner. I felt so bad for my mom that I even apologized to him for whatever I said that offended him even though I didn’t do anything. He continued to say he did not like my attitude also stating I’ve ruined the past years relationship he had with my mom and I needed to leave..all because “we” not just me asked him about specific results he failed to mention previously. I asked again for the interaction with my mom to be recorded, he walked away from us and never returned. We had to leave the office without receiving all of the test results or making him aware of the changes in her condition. It’s been a few hours since todays appointment and my mom is still in disbelief of what transpired earlier. He seems to become very sensitive when asked to explain test results and I believe he became annoyed because he was being held accountable for not disclosing previous test results accurately. We now have to find a new PCP for my mom, which she’s very nervous about.

1 /5 Yori: I would not recommend this medical provider and if possible I would avoid at all cost. Their practices are unethical and they will try to schedule appointments for you to make money even if you are completely healthy. I went in for a routine annual physical. The first day I spent the time registering since it was the first time I was going to this hospital. The physician I spoke with told me that it was routine and that I have to come in a couple weeks again so that the actual doctor performs the annual physical. I followed the physicians instructions because basically that was an introductory visit and I was to come in later for the annual physical and blood work. Fast forward a couple weeks later, I get a bill from this place for a follow up visit and blood work review. When I called them, they basically said thats their practice and if I have an issue with it than I can just switch providers. On top of that, they schedule me for an appointment 3 months from the date of the second visit. If you ask me why would they ask a healthy individual ( per blood work and physical results) to come back in only 3 month? Basically money. They dont care about the patient, they care about billing them the most they can.

5 /5 Health Studies Student Association: Would recommend this practice to everyone in town. Do not listen to the other reviews, they must have gotten to the office and disagreed with their practices. I do not believe that this is reason to give 1 star due to one off day. People these days expect everything to go their way, the employees are people too and are doing all that they can to serve us.

5 /5 Cynthia Niess: I could never find the words to speak with regards to Dr Roque. He goes above and beyond the call of duty for each patient. Dr Roque has benn primary doctor for my mom, for my dad. And now for me. He is a one in a million because he truly cares about each of the patient s he ses each da. He is a special person. I think he is awesome.
