1 /5 Brie Scarborough: was hoping I would love this place being so close to home. I went in just for a root lift and lites around my face. Being blond isnt easy so I expressed please just make sure there is no orange or brassy. after 4 half hours I went home at closing with wet hair as I felt I was holding everyone up as they sat waiting by the door to leave. I felt bad. left in the pouring rain and got home to dry my hair off and I have nothing but brass. Everyone has said something. its orange. it looks so washed out and brassy I dont know what to do except go somewhere else and have them do my roots a decent color not bleach to my scalp. there is no contrast but all over bleach that just lifted to orange. Im so disappointed. but I still kept the appointment for my little girl for today as she starts school tomorrow and wanted a cut and I promised her a few lites around her face. my fault as when I was leaving in the rain etc I missed the time and thought the appointment was at 1:30 when it was at one I wasnt given a card with a time so it was a missunderstanding. My husband got her there at 1:25 and she was told cant do any lites only cut. wow really? bc adding a handful of lites to a child that you saw clearly was upset would have stalled your day? My husband said there was nobody waiting and nobody there when she finished cutting her hair. I find that to be really not cool on your part. I didnt ask you for a full foil on a 9 yr old. she came home super upset. yes it was my fault I was wrong on the time but give me a break. when I was there for my hair I was told to come sit and was started bc someone didnt show up. My hair was started and then the guy showed up I was told to get up and move so he could be done, so I did. I didnt say anything but that was pretty bad. anyway we wont be back and I now will find someone to get this orange out. No blond ever wants orange brassy hair.

Mimosas Hair Studio - St. Augustine D D: ******GO ANYWHERE ELSE***** SAVE YOUR HAIR!! I WENT IN AS A FIRST TIME CLIENT. Asked for touch up of my current balayage and came out looking like an 80s hair band singer vs a cheetah. My top hair was dyed BLACK, which bled into my highlighted hair turning it ORANGE! The bottom of my hair was also dyed BLACK!?! I was told she was going to darken it up a little to make it "blend" better. I mean, the salon was very dark, I had no idea what the color actually looked like until I got into my car. ALL MY HAIR STYLISTS KNOW YOU DONT DARKEN A BALAYAGE!!! I got home and my husband was shocked. He said I should go back. I was trying to give the stylist the benefit of the doubt so 2 hrs later, I text the stylist asking for advise since it was quite a bit darker than I was expecting. She said to wait and the color would fade... I wore my hair in a bun for 2 weeks I was so embarrassed walking around looking like a German shepherd! I messaged her again which she offered to try and fix but couldnt get me in for another 3 weeks!!?? What? I then contacted the owner. ANGELA. No help. Basically, did not offer help, nor a refund and stated that she "just rents the booths out" and "contact the stylist". WOW. As an owner?? Your reputation is worth this? OKAY. I went elsewhere, $200 LATER and 4 hours of stripping dye out of my hair it looked descent. I contacted THE OWNER asking for a refund since I paid so much to correct her stylist mistake and she said "Im on vacation for the next 2 weeks so ask the stylist for a refund" AM I IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE??? APPARENTLY ANGELA COULD CARE LESS ABOUT CLIENTS BEING PLEASED OR THE REPUTATION OF HER SHOP. PLEASE BEWARE. SAVE YOUR HAIR AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! These people know nothing about business, nothing about owning mistakes and nothing about accountability.

Salon Zellanova - St. Augustine Kristin Russell: I just had my hair dyed at Salon Zellanova and I am in love with it! Lo did an amazing job and really took the time to make sure my hair was exactly how I wanted it. The staff were all professional, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. If youre looking to dye your hair and feel like a new person after, I highly recommend this salon.

Mahela Beauty Salon of Saint Augustine - St. Augustine Rita Mantone: I always liked Mahela Salon but have always jumped around to different salons. I get a haircut maybe twice a year. I had an appointment with Jessica recently and left with a nice haircut and feeling good about my hair situation. My hair has been thinning out but Jessica told me I had plenty of new hair coming in. The stylist at the last salon I went to had me feeling bad when I left about my thinning hair and droopy eyebrows!Jessica was professional and kind and when I am in St. Augustine, I will go to Mahela Salon for haircuts.

Do or Dye Color & Beauty Bar - St. Augustine Merida Henderson: Candace is the best! I was so worried, because I had some bad experience at other places, but she put my nerves at ease. She knock it out the park with my hair and it wasnt damaged. We laughed and had a great time during the appointment. Ill keep coming no matter what. The blue hair was before and the purple is after and a week and half after my appointment too.

Push Push - St. Augustine Tara Rakers: My first time going to Push Push. My hairstylist was Mary. We talked about cut and color and she didn’t disappoint. When I got home I looked in the mirror and felt so beautiful I put a full face of makeup on to match my new hairdo. Before and afters.

The JW Salon - St. Augustine Natalie Shaw: I have gotten my haircut from Emmalee twice now. She is so welcoming and kind! She is especially adaptable to what you want done. She’s doing a lot of work with razor recently and she did such an amazing job with my hair. I highly recommend :)

I had booked my daughter, an updo appointment for her spring formal. The night before the formal the Hairstylist from a different salon canceled. Forcing me to have to find a new Hairstylist the morning of the formal on a Sunday. Dan, was able to find me a stylist who did a phenomenal job! Stephanie was nice and accommodating. My daughter said she felt like a princess after her hair was done. I will definitely be going back in the future when they get into their new building. What I liked best was they worked with my budget.

Love Your Hair - St. Augustine Raymond Hubrich: At the suggestions of my wife, I made an appointment for a haircut (I have long hair). This is a family owned business and they make you feel very welcome and I appreciated Denise listening and really taking interest in what I was asking for. She was honest and transparent with the prices and did not try to sell me anything I didnt need. This is exactly what we were looking for and will be coming back.

VIBE: a hair company - St. Augustine Kali Biglin: Selfishly I didnt want to write this review and risk never getting an appointment again! But cannot recommend this salon and especially Tessa enough. I have been here for 3 years and have been to at several different stylist and she has exceeded my expectations. I’ve hated my hair since moving here and having difficulty finding the right stylist for me. And now I can confidently say I’m obsessed with my hair and am so happy I have found my hair girl. Walking in everyone was so nice and helpful cannot recommend these girls enough!
