    Maryann Lazzaro: This is a very pretty outdoor venue. Unfortunately the traffic on the bridge can get a bit noisy. We did not get o side the main house as it was an outdoor wedding. Parking is across the street and about a block walk to the venue. The river view is amazing. The pavilion for the reception was nice and in cooler weather it would be more open on all sides for a better view

    Courtney McNeil: I recently enjoyed a wonderful and welcoming tour of the Lee County Black History Society Museum led by Mr. Charles Barnes, who is truly a wealth of information and knowledge. I was impressed at how much information was conveyed by the museums exhibits and their effective use of space, and I learned so much. I will recommend this museum to anyone interested in learning more about the history of Lee County and the valuable contributions of the vibrant Black community there!

    Montero Nelson: This was a relaxing short walk around the boardwalk. We went early in the morning and saw a few locals (wildlife). You can also go fishing at one of their piers. Its also a memorial for those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Freedom is NOT free!

    David Waszmer: We stopped in during our lunch break during the holidays to view the local school kids art. The artists were from various grades. The Art Center was decorated beautifully. There are many talented kids in the local area. There was no admission fee but we made donations. This is a gorgeous historic building.
