1 /5 Ben Weeks: Ive really appreciated this place and have always been a repeat patient since many years ago. Ive also never had any issues w/staff, nurses, treatment and of course w/physicians that work here within the BayCare Group and everyone has been Great!! However, this visit today w/ my daughter was very frustrating and so unfathomable. After a long conversation w/the receptionist/representative, "Kaitlyn Fritz," she verified my daughters Insurance Card information and DL and said it was INVALID/REJECTED. She told me to call my Insurance Company to fix what issues she received and so I did. After calling my Insurance company and doing a 3 way call, we did initially verify that we DO HAVE INSURANCE and your medical front desk representative, "Kaitlyn Fritz" had the authority to deny coverage when we verified it was a Clerical Mistake. We literally had her rerun the freaking Insurance Card and she said oh okay its approved in the system...I really dont ever give any bad reviews to any affiliation, but this is so Baffling that a person can deny coverage/entrance based on incompetent clerical data entry. Theres definitely a huge issue here that needs to be adjusted and fixed, and I feel this was necessary to be heard loud and clear. No excuses in the Med Field. This is probably why A.I. will eliminate those uncalled mistakes, especially working within the medical field.
