5 /5 L S: Beautiful! We went on a weekday so it wasn’t very busy but we enjoyed the shopping and dining areas that lined the main beach access.

5 /5 Mara Reid: This is the perfect place to hang on the weekend if you are looking for a lazy day. There is not a lot of street parking, however; there are some limited paid parking spots right by the beach as well as a block away. The waves were fairly ok. Not calm like a sheltered cove would be but calm enough for my little one to swim in shallow water without me being worried. There is a hotel along the strip that rents umbrellas for $25 per day and chairs for $15 for the day, no hourly rental. You can also bring your own tent or chairs, etc. While there were a lot of people there when I arrived around 1pm, it was not overcrowded as people were constantly arriving and departing. There is an outdoor pipe to wash off (clothed) before leaving the beach area. Enjoy!

5 /5 Richard Kurr: Except for that time they decided foolishly to hold spring break this beach has the best of all worlds. Not too crowded but lively, good restaurants and atmosphere.

5 /5 Perks Advisor: Pompano Beach offers a large beach that was sparkling clean. The sun shines off the sandy beach. Parking is somewhat limited, but there are some metered spots. Around the beach is the Pompano Pier. There also are some walkways if you do not want to walk entirely in the sand. Tip: Go early for any chance to find metered parking.

4 /5 J P: I liked this beach. Not overloaded with people and very walkable. The sand could be cleaner. Water rentals available nearby, including jet skis. I would recommend!

Pompano Community Park - Pompano Beach Sophia Madison Garcia: It’s a great little park with plenty of outdoor activities for the whole community to enjoy. I always feel safe when I’m out there, whether I’m walking around or just relaxing. Navigating the park can be a bit tricky, and the pebble paths are kind of scattered with loose rocks, but I still find myself visiting often. The lighting at night could definitely use a boost, but with so many folks out and about in the evenings, it still feels pretty comfortable. Overall, it’s a solid spot to get some fresh air and stretch your legs in true Florida fashion.

Pompano Beach Historical Society and Kester Museums - Pompano Beach Claudia Ferguson: Great experience back to the time when a visionary started the beach tourism industry!!

Harbors Edge Park - Pompano Beach Stephanie Rolon: Absolutely beautiful and serene park not very crowded and you can enjoy the intercostal views.

Fern Forest Nature Center - Coconut Creek bossle tommy (InExile03): Awesome trails! The trails are not very long but its nice to make multiple trips through them. I visited in late February and there were not any mosquitoes. I saw wildlife and a great variety of plants very shortly into my trip.

On the Board Walk - Deerfield Beach M B: Nice beach north of all the crowds and noise. Very clean. I recommend it here. Again this was a weekday so ….

M&B Railroad Museum - A Gentle Touch Pet Grooming: The museum didnt appear to be open. It was a Monday. The Locomotive does not look that nice anymore. Nice little town, though.

Sam Atkins Park - Blountstown Sarah Anne: This park has a lot of variety. Plenty of ways to spend an afternoon. Some things are a bit dated, without compromising the usefulness or enjoyment from those pieces of equipment. Bathrooms arent amazing, but to be expected from an outdoor recreational area not constantly maintained. All in all the kids( and myself) had a great time here. Lots of room to roam. If other families are enjoying the afternoon you can easily spread out and have enough space to share.

M&B Railroad Park - Anna Parker: This is an amazing piece of history to view an excellent as background for taking the photo’s to reflect on this epic adventure. A water park is close for kiddos to enjoy

Panhandle Pioneer Settlement - Blountstown Shae Fendrick: This is such a cool historic place! Came here for a field trip with the kids. I didn’t catch her name but the woman who worked at the gift shop was so polite and kind to my group of littles. She taught the kids how to play a game in the gift shop. We ended up buying that game hours later before we left for the day. It’s so fun! There is a ton of history here and the kids enjoyed learning from the people at each stop. Highly suggest stopping here for a visit! Thank you to all the staff for welcoming us here.
