5 /5 Victoria Von: Had an amazing day at Bing’s Landing with my family! The park’s gorgeous views of the Intracoastal Waterway, shaded by massive oaks, were breathtaking. We enjoyed the short trails, perfect for kids, and loved spotting dolphins from the fishing pier. The picnic pavilions and grills were ideal for our lunch, and the playground kept the kids entertained. We also explored the historic Mala Compra Plantation site, which added a cool historical vibe. Clean facilities and a peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect outing. Can’t wait to return for kayaking!

5 /5 M W: This place has a BBQ restaurant and a real smoker that they use to make great pulled pork and chicken. I passed this place several times every time I come down here and always see it busy so today I decided to stop by here with my girlfriend and it didnt disappoint! We had the pulled pork plates with bbq baked beans, corn bread and spicy collard greens. Washed it down with an orange cream hard cider and Ill tell you were coming back for seconds today. Try this place out! And theres a picnic area with friendly squirrels and a channel to check out the fish

5 /5 Joshua Andrade: Great spot to drop in your boat or fish from the docks. Right next to some good BBQ and accross the street from Mala Compra bike, equestrian, and walking trails and the beach this is a really cool area. If you park in front of the BBQ pla e there are friendly squirrels that will come eat from your hand.

5 /5 Jessica Lehman: Great park, very clean, lots of space to explore. Good size playground for the kids. Beautiful water front. And the Archaeology site was so fascinating. I am so happy to see such history preserved for everyone to learn and enjoy. There is a fabulous little restaurant on the property Captain Ds and the food was amazing!

Orman House Historic State Park - Apalachicola Anne Smoak: Get Ranger Jeremy Roundtree to give you a tour! Such a beautiful home, with attached gardens and a three-soldier monument. Come see historic items inside this house that has been in the family for over 180 years. Check out the ancient furniture, and the mini replica food in the kitchen. take a minute to enjoy the beautiful floor to ceiling windows in the parlor and the dining room area. Pick up stairs at the attic and see some storage areas. Original outfits from the family are still in this house. Its amazing that this house is still standing through all of the weather and hurricanes in Florida. Give yourself a good hour and a half for the self-guided tour.

The tour was informative, engaging, and full of local charm—but what truly made the experience unforgettable was our guide, Janyce. She’s incredibly charismatic, and her passion for the history of the home and the town really shines through in every story she tells. You can tell she genuinely cares about preserving and sharing Apalachicola’s rich past. The tour is offered for just a $5 donation, which is more than worth it for the insight and experience you receive. If you’re visiting the area, this is a must-do! Janice brings history to life, and the Raney House is a beautiful glimpse into 19th-century Florida life.

Apalachicola Family Airboat Tours - Apalachicola Elizabeth Bingham: Captain Carter was a wonderful guide. My family absolutely loved our trip out and got to see 4 gators! We had so much fun! I highly recommend you take a gator tour. We got to learn all about them and feed them some cheese puffs.

Apalachicola Maritime Museum - Apalachicola FJ Morgan: Please visit and contribute. This place is privately funded and is doing much good work on n our area of the PanHandle. It also offers classes and cruises. Recently it restored Debbie Reynold Steamboat which will be joining its cruise fleet.

Florida Caverns State Park - Marianna Hinton Jason: The caverns tour was a great overall experience! I will warn you ahead of time you will have to stoop and duck while going through these caverns. There are a couple of areas you pass through on the tour that are around 4 to the ceiling. There were 2 bats that were sleeping also. The tour guide was quick to point them out. The only area flash photography is not allowed is in areas where there are bats. The caverns are beautiful and well lit. The guide was very knowledgeable about the caverns also. I would not recommend these caverns to anyone who can not bent or stoop and walk at the same time. All in all it was a beautiful cavern and a great adventure!

Fun Station - Tallahassee Erica Jones: Amazing is the only way I can describe my first visit to Fun Station. I was very impressed by the information provided on the board about things to do. The checkout experience was so easy, simple and pleasant. The mini golf was so much fun. It was a great time and you get in some exercise. The go carts were zooming around the track. It will satisfy your need for speed. There are also batting cages for those who want to get in some practice. The arcade section was top tier. There are so many games and not just regular games, but awesome games. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. There is so much to do you wont be disappointed.
