3 /5 Allen Moser: Nice dock and gazebo to view the Gulf or fish from. Not much fish other than catfish,croakers, lady fish, and a occasional under size flounder. Still it is a nice walk out to the end of the dock and they do have a playground for the little ones. Would like to see better lighting at night and maybe a secure garbage can so the pigs wouldnt throw garbage into the monofilament recycling container.

2 /5 Robert Knowlton: Unreasonable Overnight Parking Cost The city of Apalachicola has turned its parking lot under a bridge into a money-making scheme, nearly doubling the cost to $50 per night in the last couple years. The city police officer who greeted us claimed that $50 was "a good deal because of the cost of hotels around here." They used to take cash as well but now have switched to a credit-only kiosk near the boat docks. The parking lot consists of a dirt portion and a grass portion. You can park in either. Its underneath a high, busy bridge. Construction is currently occurring in the area and the officer also warned that construction traffic would be coming and going at all hours of the night. We were there on a Tuesday evening in February and there was only one other RVer present. The officer said it fills up on the weekends. Its pretty obvious by the poor condition of the parking lot and surrounding area that theyre not putting any of the revenue they get back into the dirt parking lot.

5 /5 Visuals Broadside Wedding (Luke and Liz): It’s a fantastic place for self contained/off grid rigs. There’s no bathroom, but for $30 a night you can’t beat it honestly. I’ve paid more for less.
