5 /5 Tahmea Witchard: i havent been inside to tour the nature but ive been to their park and spoke with their staff and everyone is kind and approachable, i actually lost my iphone one time visiting and a group of kids on a field trip returned it to the front desk and i was able to get it back,but i love that theres a small playground to play on so that way if you dont want to or dont have the momey to your kid can still play and have fun outside of the nature trail ,on the inside of the building there are snacks and beverages that you can purchase at low cost as low as 50¢ and they also have noveltys etc, i think its nice i do recommend

3 /5 K Hetch: This park, you have to pay to go walking. I dont recall paying before, ie, 5 yrs ago. It was sad to see a lonely eagle in the cage. The lake seems to be overgrown, they should consider chopping some bushes down. Otherwise, its an ok park.

4 /5 Kristy Otterbein: Great place for exploring and learning. A lot of things for kids, and great for adults, and photography. You get it all with this little park. Enter through the main building (learning center), for a small fee.

5 /5 Ashley Wilkins: Amazing place to visit. 10/10 would recommend the tram tour. Our tour guide Bryan was super knowledgeable and provided us with a great tour. We got to see gators, tortoises, various birds, and tons of plants. Loved it!

5 /5 Steven Aflop: A wonderful park, top teir trails through the wetlands and along the lake and creek. Filled with animals of all varieties including some permanently injured birds of prey they care for. Great place to see Floridas nature at its best.

Dell Holmes Park - St. Petersburg

Charleen Martinez: Very large park for the whole family. Amazing, closed in playground for children of all abilities and ages. There is a very clean and modern splash pad too. They are renovating the dock by the lake but the view is still nice. Lots of trees and picnic spots. Walking trails is smooth and perfect for a stroller walk.

Tadeusz Kosciuszko Monument - St. Petersburg

gurpsgearhead: While I have little knowledge of the namesake of this monument, I can tell that it is kept in good shape and centrally located in the Downtown district for easy accessibility. Those who bear more current interest for this monument will have better luck than I will, at least until I have more knowledge of the monument.

Gulf Beaches Historical Museum - St Pete Beach

VANICE LAMBERT: I have been to the museum twice. It offers a great deal of historical information regarding coastal Pinellas County. From old documents to photographs to artifacts found on land and water. Seeing the old maps of Pinellas mangroves and orange groves to what it has now become is a bit sad. The WW2 room was my favorite. The museum can be done in 15 minutes for a quick walk through to it being a hours long excursion-it just depends on how much you want to delve into it. The volunteer docents are knowledgeable and are eager (sometimes too eager) to answer any questions. They also have free bags of goodies for children which was a nice touch.

The Florida Holocaust Museum - St. Petersburg

Maksim Blair: This is a very emotionally powerful museum. It is designed to be child friendly, so it doesn’t go as in-depth as some museums on the subject I’ve been to. The volunteer was very helpful in describing the museum and exhibits. They had two temporary exhibits going on during my visit. I found the “We Share The Same Sky” exhibit to be the most moving. It was very touching and had many items that brought me back to the museums of Europe. I would definitely return in the future, it’s a really special place here in Florida to be able to reflect on exhibits and items that normally you would have to travel to Europe to see.

Sand Key Park - Clearwater

McCabe Amy “Chaplain Amy”: Really nice spot to watch the sunset, especially all the way at the north end where the sailboats come floating by. There is a rock wall and beautiful trees if you like to take pics with a little depth to them.

Moccasin Lake Nature Park - Clearwater

rex donahough: 1 hour worth of trails Small butterfly garden Education areas with animals Clean bathroom Plenty of areas to sit and picnic Tranquil little Park setback in the neighborhood, but the views once you get there couldnt be overstated. The amazing trail system is well taken care of and boasts plenty of boardwalks with beautiful Vistas. Small creeks and a river run through this park wonderfully pinpointed by a few ponds. There are some sunny areas, but its mostly a beautiful shaded walk through the woods. I definitely wasnt expecting there to be an Aviary showing off some of the areas bird culture, which was pretty amazing and educational.
