4 /5 Maryann Lazzaro: This is a very pretty outdoor venue. Unfortunately the traffic on the bridge can get a bit noisy. We did not get o side the main house as it was an outdoor wedding. Parking is across the street and about a block walk to the venue. The river view is amazing. The pavilion for the reception was nice and in cooler weather it would be more open on all sides for a better view

5 /5 Sandi Evans: A beautiful old home with so much Fort Myers history . Jacqueline did an amazing job in our 90 minute tour of the home. I would highly recommend visiting. I reserved a tour ahead of time to make sure we had a docent led tour.

5 /5 Adam Catasus: The Burroughs Home & Gardens was an amazing venue for a multitude of reasons that allowed us to enjoy and celebrate to the fullest extent on our wedding day. First, the overall prop erty, views on the river, old Florida and feel inside and outside the house pulled us to fall in love with the site as we are born and raised Floridians. Second, Melissa and the staff are stellar as they helped us throughout our entire wedding process explaining and bouncing ideas of how other weddings and events have used the property in the past, identifying, sharing, and connecting outside vendors who are extremely familiar with the venue, and having great communication and patience with us in the build up and day of for our wedding. Third, the recently renovated and updated bridal suite was the perfect addition to the venue and included everything a bride and bridal party could need on the wedding day. Lastly, knowing that the funds to rent this amazing space goes back to restoring and continuing the upkeep of this venue which is integral to Southwest Florida history is an amazing feeling to support for future couples to get married and other amazing events to continue in the future.

Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve - Cape Coral Montero Nelson: This was a relaxing short walk around the boardwalk. We went early in the morning and saw a few locals (wildlife). You can also go fishing at one of their piers. Its also a memorial for those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Freedom is NOT free!

Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center - Fort Myers David Waszmer: We stopped in during our lunch break during the holidays to view the local school kids art. The artists were from various grades. The Art Center was decorated beautifully. There are many talented kids in the local area. There was no admission fee but we made donations. This is a gorgeous historic building.

Harns Marsh - Fort Myers Larry Epperson: Really enjoyed the hike on the trail. We saw a lot of different birds. I wish there was some kind of markers on the trail so you know for sure youre still on the trail. Its a long almost 4 mile loop and nothing to tell you that youre on the trail

Snell Park - Fort Myers Fort Myers Reviews: Small little private park in which there is a cute little bench overlooking the Caloosahatchee River with a stunning view of the waters. There is also a large banyan tree which provides a nice, shady place to rest.
