5 /5 Sharanya Sarkar: We had a wonderful time here! Its a perfect mix of stunning architecture, rich history, and natural beauty. We spent about an hour and a half strolling the perimeter, exploring the rooms, taking photos, and reading the historical details. We visited on a Monday morning in early May and it wasn’t too crowded, which made the experience even better. On a hot sunny day, the cool sea breeze made it feel like paradise. Parking was very reasonable (around $2/hour) and entry was $15 per person. Just a heads-up: tickets weren’t available in advance online, so we got them on-site.

5 /5 Angela Bridges: We visited on the weekend and we were able to walk around the outside didnt really feel the need to do the tour inside. While walking around the water side we were able to see sea turtles dolphins and even a manatee! The time of day that we walked was around 6:00 p.m. when we drove by later we saw people walking around the grounds even in the evening time. They had great parking!

5 /5 KashDaMoney: Very educational with a beautiful view. There are educational demonstrations and a little gift shop to visit after. The admin fee was $15 per adult when I visited. I was able to park at this location, there is a very limited number of spots available. You can pay to park at this location for up to 4 hours, at the time of my visit, a 4 hour parking fee cost me $10.

5 /5 Desiree McConnell: This is a well kept fort and museum. We enjoyed walking around and learning interesting facts about the area. It’s definitely worth seeing when you’re in the area! The people that work there are dedicated and happy to share their knowledge about the area.

5 /5 FITO GARZON: It is a great place if you are a fan of history and old architecture, it is a family place and the view of the sea is amazing. You will learn a lot. There are parking lots next to the castle so you wont have problems, however, it is important to go early to find a spot and to take good pics. I recommend you to wear sunscreen because the weather usually is hot.

St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park - St. Augustine Gabriel Roman: We’ve been pass holders at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm for a while now, and it’s one of our favorite local spots. The season pass is a fantastic deal, especially if you live nearby or plan to visit more than once. However, the single-day admission does feel a bit pricey for the parks size, so the pass is the way to go if you’re a repeat visitor. What makes this place stand out is the incredible variety of crocodilians—it’s one of the only places in the world where you can see all 24 species in one location. They also do meaningful conservation and education work, which we respect. Beyond the alligators and crocodiles, the zoo features other reptiles, birds, and mammals, plus a lovely elevated boardwalk through the rookery. It’s a hidden gem for bird watchers and photographers—especially during nesting season when the trees are alive with activity. We also really appreciate how ADA-compliant and stroller-friendly the entire park is. The paths are smooth and easy to navigate, which makes a big difference when visiting with young kids or anyone with mobility needs. The playground is a great bonus for families, giving kids a space to burn off energy. And the gift shop is surprisingly good—well-stocked with quality items and some fun, unique finds. It’s one of the better zoo gift shops we’ve visited. That said, if you’re not especially into crocodiles or reptiles, the experience may feel repetitive after a while. But for those who are—even just a little—the park offers a peaceful, well-kept setting to learn, explore, and enjoy nature. Overall, the Alligator Farm is a unique and charming spot in St. Augustine.

Nights of Lights - St. Augustine Tanvir Ahmed: Magical! St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights is one of the most beautiful holiday displays I’ve ever seen. The entire historic downtown glows with millions of white lights—it feels like walking through a winter wonderland (minus the snow!). Great for photos, evening strolls, and holiday vibes. Highly recommend visiting during the season!

Fort Mose Historic State Park - St. Augustine Rae Augenstein: Although weve been to StAug many times, this was our first time stopping at Ft Mose. Lovely, peaceful boardwalk through the marsh. Saw lots of birds and some animal tracks we couldnt figure out. Nice museum for $2 per person. Will definitely be back.

Old Jail Museum - St. Augustine Emily Hahnel: This was so cool! The "prisoner" that took us on a tour was awesome! You really get a glimpse of what it was like to live in the jail. I highly recommend- even good for kids!

Governors House Cultural Center and Museum - St. Augustine Tikki: Nice little museum with interesting exhibits on the production of chocolate and the history of the house. However the highlight is the gorgeous collection of lots of art masterpieces from different artists in the region.

Red Train Tours - St. Augustine Briana Michel: Benji was fantastic! Very engaging, enthusiastic and funny. He paid attention to what tour goers were pointing to and would add in the additional info based on personal interests of those on the bus. He added in engaging trivia and fun local food and drink recommendations in addition to the beautiful history. Highly recommend him as your tour guide!

Ghosts & Gravestones Tour St. Augustine - St. Augustine Space For All: We had a great time and learned a lot about historic St. Augustine! The actors were awesome and it was a cool experience. Knuckles, Charlie, the actor who played the part at the Potters Wax Museum pharmacy and Thorn were really cool!! Would recommend to do this tour and explore some of the scary sites of St.Augustine.

Oldest House Museum Complex - St. Augustine Karen Magno: This was great! We did the little guided tour. It was so informative.

St. Augustine History Museum - St. Augustine Nelson Roman: We bought the tickets there with no wait. Stella at Jail museum and uncle Vince at the old history were phenomenal. They put us back in time explaining everything and displaying neat artifacts from the 1800s. The troll around the city is a little redundant and it takes 1:45 to go trough 22 stops. You can’t stop and enjoy wine, liquor distillery and take the next trolly. Make sure to get the sticker on your shirt. It’s a pretty neat little town with lots of history. There is a sand lot Parking next door, so it provides enough space if you are driving. Half of the tour is the downtown , so you can walk and adventure yourself. Def will recommend it to friends and family
