5 /5 Brandy Carley Independent Scentsy Director: Beautiful botanical garden. We came across this place by accident after snorkeling at Devils Den Spring. I was a little concerned because we were still wearing bathing suits with cover ups and sandals. The terrain is very easy to get around, even if you forget your walking shoes. I had questions and the people who checked us is were so nice and helpful addressing our concerns. One of the ladys said I could even go into the waterfall if I wanted to. So happy we were able to, because had we changed from our swimsuits, I would have never gotten to experience it. We had a great time and I would recommend to anyone planning to visit. While we had some light snacks on hand, my only regret is that I would have brought more food to do a picnic lunch.

5 /5 Diane Lorenzi: It’s pet friendly. The dog is not allowed to be on the retractable leash. It’s so much fun and so beautiful especially with this gorgeous spring weather. I got so many great pictures and videos and you able to walk underneath the waterfall super cool super cool hike. They got orchids flower garden tree garden so many cool things to see. They got benches everywhere and gazebos. You can sit down and rocking chairs. At the end of the day, I checked my steps I walked 2 miles that’s a lot for me

Right at the entrance, we had the pleasure of meeting the landscaper responsible for maintaining the grounds. The care, dedication, and artistry that go into this place are immediately obvious and deserve recognition. I don’t even know where to start, because this place is truly a must-visit if you’re anywhere near Williston, Florida. This amazing place has layered gardens, cascading waterfalls, stone bridges, and tropical plants. We followed the guided, numbered trail with a handy map provided at the entrance, which made exploring effortless and exciting. Around every corner, there were beautifully maintained flower beds bursting with color, peaceful shady areas perfect for taking a break, and serene benches where you could just soak in the view. Our pictures tell it all!! And speaking of views—bring your camera! There are endless photo opportunities, from scenic overlooks to magical hidden paths. We were especially delighted by the huge, vibrant fish in the ponds and the elegant swans gliding across the water. But the crown jewel of Cedar Lakes has to be the lagoon. It’s absolutely breathtaking. The way it’s been framed by nature and accentuated is nothing short of brilliant. You can tell it was created with love and intention. The waterfalls bring this peaceful hum that stays with you long after you leave, and the blend of rock, water, and greenery just puts your mind at ease. It’s one of those rare places where you feel connected—to nature. If you’re looking for tranquility, inspiration, or just a refreshing day immersed in natural beauty, this place is it. Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens is more than just a garden—it’s a living, breathing piece of art and an experience we’ll never forget.

5 /5 Teresa Lea B: This foliage peacefest is a place where no one is upset or angry, it is beauty at its best! If you’re a gardener or love plants, 12 bucks entrance fee makes you smile even more. The air is so fresh and this team really takes care of their property. Azaleas are blooming and could be found everywhere. I have ponds myself so looking at the gigantic koi and other fish always puts me at ease. Make sure you have your walking shoes on or maybe even use a walking stick because there are steep areas to which they have guardrails but my 89 year old Pop had to take a couple of breaks. He loved the place so much so he was determined and was able to get through. When you are stressed, make sure you come here located in Williston, Florida, we are from Tampa so taking the Veterans helped it making it easy. We passed Crystal river on the way. The place closed at 5, so make sure you can plan to even get a chance to picnic out there , first come first serve. We will definitely return and can’t wait ! Staff was very friendly and helpful , they have ducks and cats as well that come right up to you…. Swans were very curious and stunning, see my pics ! Thank you!
