4 /5 Roland M: Its a beautiful park to visit when there is an event going. Although harmless, there are a lot of unhoused people who will ask you for food or money. The park also houses plenty of free roaming chickens and roosters with beautiful colors.

4 /5 Meghan Yorks: Love this little area. Just wish the city would clean up the homeless issue. Place these people somewhere they can be rehabilitated as most have drug issues and do drugs actively. Never be afraid as they are in their own world. Great for chicken watching. Lots of babies in the bushes so PLEASE do not let your children run freely as so many lay their eggs in the bushes. Weve had to rescue a few lost babies but they will go will any mama thats got other babies.

5 /5 Toni Thompson: This only park in Ybor City offers a busy place for several festivals, including the Cuban Sandwich fest in March and Saturday markets with vendors of all things like home made and home grown foods, clothing, jewelry, and creative crafts. The roosters and chickens rule the roost here and do not feed them! There are a few benches but no tables. Statues of prominent immigrants from Sicily and Italy guard the corners of the park. Come to enjoy the action. Come to enjoy the peace. Accessible pay by app street parking and lot parking. Cobbles stone streets can make the path challenging for strollers, wheel chairs, and electric carts. Try the Ybor trolley too.

5 /5 LRP5060: I didn’t know about the chickens. I was just told if I’m going to visit Tampa, spend some time in Ybor. Imagine my surprise as I am visiting your lovely city and find a park full of chickens running around!!! The food in the area is incredible but nothing beats surprise chickens. 10/10

Serengeti Safari - Tampa Kelly Black: What a delight! A little pricey if you are not a pass holder. But its a fun experience. You go through the park and see all of the animals. The tour guides are knowledgeable and fun! I have done this multiple times and the giraffes never disappoint! Good for most ages. You stand up on the back of a moving truck and hold in. Some bumps along the way. Its also handicapable friendly.

Lettuce Lake Park - Tampa Cortes Catherine “Cat”: Its so beautiful and peaceful. The park is large and secluded with many places to rent for picnic, parties, whatever your occasion. Call and you can reserve a certain area. But there are also plenty of places to stop and eat throughout that are free. The boardwalk is breathtaking. There is plenty of wildlife to see, and its just so peaceful. Remember to look up for the sleeping screech owl or another bird life we have here. I got to see a cardinal, and walking through the trees was just serene. They are extending the board walk as well as updating and making repairs. Its a family or walkers/hikers dream. Many trail to take all over the place and a large one that goes around the perimeter.

Seaplane Basin Park - Tampa Supun Attanayake: The place is spacious and aesthetic. Not much to see other than the beautiful ocean. The sunsets can be called the most beautiful. The road is paved for skating,cycling, walking, jogging etc. No park entrance fee or parking fee. Dog park is just nearby. No on site personnels. The side walk is not available in some areas of the routes. The old degraded boats need to be removed.

SheiKra - Tampa Den Tholense: This ride is build for adrenalin junkies. I was a bit scared but the ride was awesome! The splashzone is really cool although the water was warm as well. A little bit theming around the area makes this ride very nice to see and there are plenty of photo spots nearby and at the spot.

Croc Encounters - Tampa Paul Jozefak: We had a great time with our almost 9 year old. He really enjoyed being able to hold a python and a gator. The tour is quite comprehensive and DJ was a fun guide. I wound recommend that they get the repairs on the boardwalk through the park done. At times I was a bit concerned about all the little kids potentially getting hurt but I am totally aware of cost constraints and am glad that this sanctuary exists. I am sure keeping it running is more important for the animals than making it perfect. Hence I also recommend folks go there. Keeping this business running is probably tough and I am quite confident that the deal you get (4 people for 100 bucks) is one of the better ones in Florida. Go during the week and off-season if possible to get smaller groups. Also go to the bathroom at home. There are Porta Potties but I’d only consider those a fail safe.

New Tampa Nature Park - Tampa rex donahough: Its about a half day park, but its attached to other parks. Has a couple of play areas, not a lot, though. Paved trail goes to other long bike trails. No restrooms other than a port-a-potty Its definitely a nice little Park, unfortunately youll never not hear the highway. Still, there are a few beautiful Cypress swamps and a couple of nice Boardwalk areas to chill out in. Plenty of picnic areas to stop and soak in nature with. BE AWARE that all of the hiking trails seem to dead end, but the paved trail goes out to more paved trails that lead into other parks adjacent to this one.

Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park - Tampa Cat Wilson.: We loved the riverfront park, a lot to do in the area ( basketball, tennis, pickleball, running, exercising equipment) we loved the splash pad and the park, after playing about we walked the riverside and it was very peaceful and calming. We watched a few boats pass us by very friendly folks aboard, we all loved seeing all the art work. Beautiful environment !! We will be returning soon!!!

Cobras Curse - Tampa Noah Von Dauber: Cobras Curse is one of the most unique roller coasters I have ever ridden. It starts off with an elevator that takes you to the top, and then you glide through the rest of it as your cart spins around randomly, which in my opinion adds to the thrill, especially when youre going straight backwards!
