5 /5 Mike Zito: Nik Wallenda’s “Wonderland Illuminate” circus can be enjoyed by all ages. It features the Wallenda family on the high wire. There are other typical circus acts like acrobats, clowns and, this year, a camel act instead of horses. I am a volunteer here but admission is reasonable(starting at $35) and there is plenty of parking.

5 /5 Courson William (Bill): My companion and I attended Circus Sarasota‘s holiday production of “Illuminations” today and we were transported. Absolutely magical. The Wallenda family’s acrobats are incredible as were the performance by a group of Asian acrobats honoring the Chinese new year and a host of other performances. Johnny Rocket was his usual Johnny Rocket self, skillfully, providing comedic and acrobatic relief. Really unforgettable experience!

5 /5 Eric: One of the best circus shows I have ever seen. More performers than in the past, and every act had a new and exciting variation. There were a lot of empty seats so I dont think people realise how good this show actually is. Highly recommended.

5 /5 Sarah Kaiser: Wow! A must see when visiting Sarasota! The show we saw in February 2025 was worth every penny! A variety of acts from juggling, aerialists, acrobats, and a clown who interacted with the audience. The ring is not terribly large, so every seat is great. Sections 1 & 2 are the most “forward facing”, but the performers did a great job making sure every section was performed to. Our show ended with trapeze artists which would’ve been more visible from sections 1 & 2 but even from our section under the net it was incredible. The audience on a Wednesday at 2:00 was mainly adults with a few children. If you have small children, I’d probably recommend the front row of the mezzanine seats or a box so they don’t have someone immediately in front of them potentially blocking their view. Be sure to check this out and support the Circus Arts Conservatory!
