4 /5 Christina Littlejohn: Cracker Country was great, but dont follow your GPS for the entrance. I followed GPS and couldnt figure out where to get in until I did. Follow what your tickets say in your email. There are many hands-on activities, almost all of them free. You can churn butter and then taste it. Wash vegetables freshly picked from their garden. Wash and iron clothes. Practice writing in cursive at the schoolhouse and learn about what a typical day at school was like. You can lasso a cow, organize oranges, watch and learn from the blacksmith, listen to beautiful music in the church. Stamp your own postcard at the printing press. Go inside a caboose and learn who worked on the train. You also get to play with old-fashioned toys. Pack a lunch and enjoy your visit with friends and family. You can buy some candy, jams, toys, and homemade items. There isnt much other food to buy if youre not visiting during the state fair. Its definitely a fun time and great learning experience.
