If you want a nice relaxing place with minimal people around, this beach is perfect. Only down side is that paid parking is limited and there are no restroom facilities. We drove from Missouri to Destin and while we were driving we got a call canceling us. They said they are closed til further notice. They had 8 dolphins that had died this year. Talking to someone at a gas station stated theres more to the story. I have no idea what it is but my grandaughters are heartbroken. We paid over $600 for this gift.
