2 /5 PK PK: I really weighed giving a review and I need to say something so maybe patients in the future have better results.
The surgery part of this went just as they said and there were no surprises there.
As far as the final result, except for the very first appointment we never talked about the final implant. After surgery we had a couple followups to ensure the gums were healing fine, and they healed just fine. I opted for the zirconia which is very expensive.
I wore the acrylic temporary for a bit for healing and we never discussed how I wanted my fi al smile to be. So on the day of finals to be installed and they never showed me the final appliance and after they were put in I noticed the teeth were smaller than the temporary but they assured me they were the same in which I also did not know that was what was being created for the final product. When I brought up my concerns I was told they arent supposed to match. The left half of the implant teeth are bigger than the right half.
They need to have the patient be more of a part of how theyre smile will be. The seam isnt the issue and they did a good job of getting us ready for that but I thought the final would be what I wanted, not what they wanted it to be. I feel like I didnt get to choose my smile.
May 5th was the only day we discussed it and it was the first consultation and I had no clue what to expect.
They said to change it, they would have to start completely over, I felt like if I wanted this right it would be a burden on them, but for 25,000.00 it should be right.
I paid for this because I couldnt smile due to poor oral health and now I still dont smile much because it isnt what I thought it would be. After much thought though, for what this costs, I feel I should be satisfied.
Hopefully this helps someone in the future.
