Cali Nails & Tan - Parrish Taylor Pawlowski: I stopped going here for a while because of how they just zipped through my nails and eyebrows without literally even barely looking at the end product and fixing mistakes or even acknowledging that they may have messed up on something. Well I figured Id give them another shot and what do you know same thing Kim did my eyebrows in about 30 seconds didnt even look at them (she literally didnt even touch tweezers, i dont even think they have any) after or have right lighting not to mention she got wax literally all over my face because she rushed so fast and I couldnt check them because the lighting sucked get home and they look absolutely horrible have some pride in your work guys or go into a diffent line of work its crazy just remind me why I stopped going there to begin with. Not to mention I just got to fill on my nails as well in the next day the gel polish is chipping off already if youre going to have a salon have pride in your product damn literally has nothing has changed in 2 years at this place Im not quite sure how theyre still running I know multiple people who have said the same thing. Also I was reading other reviews And it seems Like every time somebody posts something negative about the poor service on Google the owner just bashes them on Google So Im fully expecting that Behavior from them. If you dont believe me go look at how shes talked to other customers on the reviews. Most unprofessional place ever
Perry Taylor Chamber-Cmmrce - Perry sally smith: I paid for a vendors booth for the Forest Festival thats held in October 2021. I got a new trailer that allows customers to walk inside to shop , I call the Chamber to verify my booth size and location to make sure the trailer would fit properly. I was informed by Don who was speaking in the background that she did want any trailers in the vendors area an she would just refund my money did give any opportunity to comment or make other arrangements to come, this was approximately 2 weeks before the event. Since the event Ive called numerous times inquiring about my refund, Ive been told the check is being mailed or they dont have and one to process payments one excuse after the other. I just want my refund because Im sure the resold my space. My next step will be small claims court, not letting this go there was nothing in the application about not allowing trailer and I also informed them I had liability insurance for my trailer.
NAILZ SPA - New Smyrna Beach Vikki P.: A true indicator of a good manicure is how long it stays without chipping or peeling. Happy to report my gel mani from this salon is doing better than from any other local establishment. Very pretty place with a fun vibe & fair pricing. Will definitely come back. Tip: plan ahead & make an appointment. This place gets busy!
The Studio at Elite Feet - Port Orange Alexis Coombs: I recently had the pleasure of attending the Elite Feet Level UP class, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The class was meticulously organized, with every detail thoughtfully planned out. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and relaxing, creating the perfect environment for learning. Emily is truly an inspiration—her passion and dedication to her craft shines through in her teaching. She is not only motivational but also incredibly knowledgeable. I left with countless valuable insights and practical tips I can use on my clients, as she made sure to address all of my questions and concerns thoroughly. This class was packed with gems, and I gained so much from the experience. I would absolutely take another course with Emily and could easily see her as my mentor in the near future. If youre looking to elevate your skills and knowledge as a pedicurist , I highly recommend learning from her!
Classy Nails - Port Orange Zita Kiss: I’m very sad because my 14 year old daughter was getting her nails done for homecoming. We got Jennifer and we were happy because we went to her a couple times before. But the last two times she was really rough, but the last time it was extremely bad. While she was doing her nails it was bleeding the whole time, and two days has past and her nails are extremely red and irritated. I don’t recommend to anybody, and we will never be going back again
Cindy Lees Facial & Nail Institute - Daytona Beach tori: I went to school for nails at Cindy Lee’s. It was truly a gift to be able to attend this school. I never thought I would be able to further my career; I worked retail and it’s hard- and not rewarding. I’ve loved art for as long as I can remember, and I have a talent for it, but was never able to turn it into a career. When my aunt offered to pay for my tuition to manicuring school, I was ecstatic. I found this school through Google and felt welcomed as soon as I called and had my tour. I had an amazing education there with amazing teachers. I found a job a week out of school with all the knowledge I learned. The people here are amazing. They know what they’re doing and they make it easy to break down.
Emerald Spa & Nails - Ormond Beach Hannah: Honestly, one of the worst nail spa experiences I’ve had. Nail tech used the dremel for my cuticles, but then used the cuticle scissors to then cut me several times. Was wondering why he kept spraying my hands with alcohol. One of the cuts was bad enough that he pulled out nail glue to staunch the bleeding(which I had to ask what it was and why). I’m not 100% sure, but the cuticle scissors that cut me may have made it back into the station’s drawer (I sincerely hope I’m wrong on that). The nail file used for manicure was dirty and had a previous customer’s hot pink nail polish already on it. Likewise placing my hands and feet on the rests without the towel down (who’s cleaning that?). Are all of their nail techs licensed? My toes look even worse with gel polish everywhere. I was wondering why he filed all my nails again after putting on top coat for both the mani and pedi. As you can see from the photos, I have a couple visible cuts, and polish all over my finger I have to clean up myself. I did not notice this until I was out of the salon and in better lighting. Price for basic pedicure and manicure with gel upgrade before tip was $82. I did not like that they could not check me out without my tech’s “ticket” which was just him walking up and saying the dollar amount, not stating the services rendered (i need to check whether it’s the same dollar amount as what the menu board stated) and even asked about his total as I was walking out after paying. Decor and ambiance is nice. Salon’s phone seemed to be disconnected when I tried to book an appointment earlier today versus walking in. I will not be returning.
Sugar Nail Bar - Ormond Beach Emily Gilardi: Just got a great gel manicure from Rex! Rex was so fun to chat with! Very relaxed environment. Super clean! Loved the house made sugar scrubs! Love a family owned business. Very reasonable prices for the quality of work. Will for sure be back!
Phoenix Nails & Spa - Port Orange Ashley Bremer: I’ve been going to Phoenix Nails for a few times now, and have always loved the finished product of my nails! Tammy did such a great job, and I definitely recommend!
