1 /5 rick kelley: Not Dr Maas but the front desk staff in Punta Gorda. Avoid at all cost. Horrible. Rescheduled me once. Then rescheduled me again. Finally get to my appointment and wait 30 minutes. Was told it’s raining so it set them back. Rains everyday in the summer. Act accordingly. Women in the front didn’t care at all that I made accommodations for them. Time off work twice. Shame on them for not caring about their patients. My advice is to look elsewhere. Dr Mass is always full so they don’t have to care.

1 /5 Debbie Di: My mother was a patient of Dr. Maas and made every appt except for the overnight sleep study. It was expressed and noted that she has agoraphobia due to the severity of her scarring from being burned and previous traumas. He said they would accommodate her if she had difficulty making the sleep study appointments. I called twice that she would not make the sleep study appointment because of her issue. They called back and assured me to try once more and that they would see about having her study another way. Well, the third time was not it. I called them and requested if they could do an in-home sleep study- which she meets the criteria for! How did they respond? Instead of calling me back to prescribe it, they mailed a letter firing her as a patient! I know they make more money with in-house sleep studies from the insurance companies than have the in-home one order! He is greedy, his staff is rude, and they genuinely do not care about the mental anxiety issues that patients can have, especially those who have had severe trauma in the past! I do not recommend them at all, and I have notified all involved that he did not care to attempt to meet my mothers medical needs or accommodate her disabilities! What they did was medical discrimination and negligence and a direct violation of his Hippocratic oath! Medical discrimination is a federal offense, and the ADA has been formally notified!

1 /5 Reconman 0321: I have been trying to get into the office for my first visit. Referral has been sent. No one ever calls back. Not professional at all. When I was able to speak with someone they made an appointment but they canceled it because I have sleep apnea and that office staff wasn’t available to speak to. So left voicemail. Still no call back from November.

Dr. Maas, is a Pulmonary doctor....He is very Intelligent, Kind, and He listened, as well as explained his finding....or why he was ordering certain test.... While waiting in the office waiting room, I met a couple who have been under his care for over 10 yrs...and they told me Positive things about this Doctor, they came from Englewood, I drove from Venice, Florida...I Thank God for doctors like Dr.Carlos Maas, I am 71 yrs, and its heaven to be able to be a Patient to the Great Physician.....Many Blesssing, with much Appreciation... .. Being ill, and not able to do a lot, makes me concerned, But, it sure feels much better knowing he will Help me BE A Healthier Person, and communicate with me..... Excellent Doctor *********

MinuteClinic at CVS - Punta Gorda Nancy Anderson: This was my first time at the Minute Clinic, and I could not have been more impressed with the professionalism, care and compassion of the nurse practitioner, Linda. I never felt rushed, she listened and questioned when something was not particularly clear to her. She explained what she was prescribing and what it was for. I was very pleased with my visit. I can highly recommend the Minute Clinic when you need to be seen and cant get to your own doctor. I will definitely use them again.

Monge Fabrizio MD - Punta Gorda Elizabeth Guale: I was admitted in the hospital for heavy growth PA bacteria on my 2nd day of IV antibiotic and Dr. Monge was the Pulmonologist rounding doctor decided to put me on Cipro oral and discontinued my IV antibiotic. My ID doctor was upset of what he ordered. I was very disappointed and mad for the fact that I know my body fully well and he went his way after discussing and disagreeing with his plan. I was hoping that my Pulmonologist was the one rounding in the hospital during stay.

Dr. Joseph Ravid, MD - Charlotte Harbor Mary L Harter: This establishment pushes pellet hormone therapy even when less invasive options are available (NOT THAT THEY WILL EVEN MENTION THEM TO YOU). Why would they do that you say? Probably because the pellets they use are from a compounding pharm and *not* FDA approved. This is an OBVIOUS conflict of interest. I would not be surprised if they are putting profits over their patients and pushing the hormone pellets because they are all cash pay and they cut out the pharmacy middle man and are getting non FDA approved pellets at a lower price so they can maximize profits. Take your number and take a seat, they are ready to insert a funnel into your body and drop pellets that are not FDA approved surgically under your skin. Doesnt matter to them that pellet therapy carries the most risk to the patient in comparison to alternative methods of HRT, it lines their pockets more than those methods do so putting you at risk means nothing.
