2 /5 alex sinclaire: 1 root canal = infected. 3 crowns = constant pain and an abscess and a crown falling off. 3 fillings + 2 falling out and 1 in pain for 3 months and they did nothing to fix it except put more filling over the top, the dentist did not perform any of that, her assistant is also a dentist, she must be right?, no! she is not
I went to Gina deans office for numerous work over a year, she did a root canal on one of my teeth that already had a crown, other dentist would have drilled through the crown and done the job, she broke the crown off with pliers then did the root canal then put a new crown on, judge for yourself why she did that.
then later some months later she did three fillings on the outside of my bottom front teeth, the pain after wards didnt go away for months, they had no idea how to fix it, one of the fillings then fell out.
then i needed two crowns, i went in having one tooth hurting, that was a $500 onlay which has hurt every day since, the tooth in front of that needed a crown i was told, i asked for a root canal but was told i didnt need it. dr dean had her assistant do things to me that were very painful, scraping away inside a live tooth, her assistant is not a dentist., today i spent $1200 fixing the damage she caused, the tooth had an internal crack that was never fixed, the tooth was infected because the crown was not fitted correctly with the wrong amount of cement.
dr deans procedure works like this: you arrive, about an hour after your appointment time you get called back, your then left alone in a dentist chair for up to another hour, then she comes in and starts work, then she leaves for up to 30 minutes and you can hear her working on other people, then she comes back and works on you a little more, her assistant seems to be a dentist too because she does a lot of scraping away while the dr is out of the room. my crown visit took 4 hours! and i left in pain and it hurt for two years, i am too afraid to go back so changed dentists, they called me once to ask when i was coming back and i asked if they were serious.
you pay $10 every visit for a clean up fee??? what a laugh that is, its not that the place is dirty, not at all, but that fee should be in the office visit cost.
I will never go back to this dentist, the experience was awful, truly awful, i blame myself for going back so many times, all of her work has come back to haunt me.
go there at your own risk, and dont even think of suing...hard to beat a dr in court.
