05-2025 Dr. Omid Khezri in Best 15 Dental Clinics and Dentists in Titusville, FL - You Can Rely On update 3Edgewater Dentist- Universal Smiles Dentistry - Edgewater Delevante Demetrius: The team at Edgewater Universal Smiles are all my heros! I have had a messed up grill for quite some time; heck they preformed most of my extractions while all my teeth were cracking, breaking and rotting. It wasnt due to a lack of care but rather I was quite sick for a while during my early 20s and it did a job on my teeth. I decided it was time to bite the bullet and i went in to get a consultation on full dentures. I was amazed when the Doctor said, "You dont want that, you are to young even at 43, I can save every one of these teeth except two and restore your your smile to its former glory." I was, quite honestly shocked at that. So we went over options and how much what would cost and I walked out of there pretty excited that I would have most of my original teeth still in my head and did not have to get dentures. It was quite a lot of work on my next visit. I had to spend 5 hours in the chair having two extractions, two root canals and all my top teeth shaved down to be fitted for crowns that will have bridges for the already missing ones. I had two cavities filled and left with a set of Temp teeth that were created using a rather sophisticated scanning tool so that they look like my actual teeth. The Doctor that did all my work was an amazing woman, she was funny and engaging the entire time and you could tell she loves her work, and boy oh boy did she do a great job! The rest of the staff from the ladies in the front to the ladies that helped with the work while I was in the chair were absolutely fantastic, and every subsequent visit, I am met with warm smiles and friendly demeanor all around. I cannot recommend Universal Smiles Dentistry in Edgewater enough. They will take care of you in every way and they offer honest recommendations but will respect what ever you decide to do and I have no doubt they will provide top notch care no matter which procedure you go with.
JJ Dental Cosmetic Dentistry - Fort Lauderdale Ali Settel: JJ Dental is the best dentist in Ft Lauderdale. I highly recommend them for both the dentists and dental hygienists. I’ve been lucky enough to have Anthony as my dental hygienist for the last 2-3 years and I have to say he goes over and beyond each time. He remembers important things about me personally and professionally that really make a difference. I like that he has a dedicated room and is consistent with his work each time.
The location of JJ Dental is also prime for where I live so it’s convenient. Will continue to recommend JJ Dental to all my friends.
Fort Lauderdale Dental Studio: cosmetic and implant dentistry - Fort Lauderdale Catherine McGee: Oh wow!
Well, first off. Very professional and friendly staff from the front desk to the exam and X-ray room. Rosie, is the best when it comes to clear visible X-rays. I mean I was really impressed! Dr. Perez was excellent on explaining my concerns about my implants and over all treatment plan. So yea, I left today feeling satisfied. Thank you guys for everything, now let’s get this treatment plan rolling!!!
Dentists of Fort Lauderdale - Fort Lauderdale Db Johnson: Dental hygentist who cleaned my teeth insinuated that my teeth were in the conditon they were in because of my poor dental hygeine; that is before she even looked in my mouth! My teeth are cleaned every 6 months and I take pride in the appearane of my teeth. I told her that her statement was offensive to me. My dental hygeine could not have been that poor. I received a deep cleaning on my upper teeth and a regular cleaning on my lower teeth in record breaking time. My teeth did not feel like they were cleaned when she finished and it cost me $205.00 in addition to what my insurance paid. When I mentioned the comments made to the front desk personell, her response I dont think that is what she meant. One less patient!
Florida Smiles Dental - Fort Lauderdale Rossanna Jaimes: Making long story short...I had a root canal done at this office in March 2024. Despite the procedure, I continued to feel pain. They reopened the tooth, checked the canals, and applied more medication. When I returned for the final filling and crown, they placed the permanent crown without refilling the tooth and left cotton inside.Over the next few months, my pain worsened. Every time I went back, the dentist dismissed it, blaming teeth grinding. In September 2024, I sought a second opinion and was told my tooth was fractured and improperly filled. The specialist confirmed necrotic tissue due to fluid infiltration. Because of the infection, the second dentist had to attempt treatment before extraction, otherwise, the anesthesia wouldnt work. She was shocked by the amount of anesthesia needed due to the severity of the infection despite the treatment. When I contacted the original office about this, they accused me of trying to take advantage, comparing my refund request to eating at a restaurant and then asking for my money back.
This experience has been painful, frustrating, and expensive. I strongly do not recommend this office due to their negligence and poor customer service.
Note: what you see black in the tooth is the necrotic tissue. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE GOING THERE.
UPDATE: The office only contacted me after receiving the notification of my review. Prior to that, they never reached out. They claimed they were trying to coordinate with the office, but the truth is, they just wanted me to remove my review.
They offered to cover the cost of the implant (which is also covered by my insurance), but only on the condition that I take down my review. ( see text message, in Spanish) I initially agreed, but then I realized that returning to that office, where underqualified professionals had already compromised my health, was not a good idea. What you see in the picture is the temporary filling that my second dentist placed to help reduce the infection. My medical records from my second dentist confirm that they left COTTON INSIDE for FIVE months and I saw it with my own eyes, so they are saying now that my second dentist and I are liars. You can also see the permanent crown in the picture, so maybe the office can clarify if the standard procedure is to place a permanent crown on a tooth with temporary filling, thats amazing! I will have the peer review Board to review this response!
