5 /5 Mengee: This is one of my favorite parks in West Palm Beach. I was looking for a place to run with asphalt surface. This park has a lot of that and space to run, walk or just relax. It also has a nice playground and sport fields. I workout here several times a week. A plus for the beautiful sunset . I’m so happy to have found this park.

4 /5 L C “CarlisGolden”: Bicycle paths are available for all skill levels. Many flat, paved trails; some are shaded, while others are fully exposed to the sun. This park is large and bustling with activity.

5 /5 Alan Langdale: Dyer park is an outstanding park. The maintenance staff keeps the park well maintained and clean. We visited the park for a mountain bike race and were impressed the all of the amenities that the park had to offer. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a beginner the trails at Dyer Park will offer you an exhilarating challenge. I want to give a special shout out to the parks maintenance staff. Thank you to the park staff member who found our son’s phone in the baseball restrooms the day after we made the 3 hour trip home and brought it to the maintenance offices for safe keeping. Thank you for being at work on a holiday and being able to meet up with our friends that live local to the park so we could get it back. Thank you.

Visit Palm Beach Visitor Information Center - West Palm Beach Annette Weber-Stein: Outstanding staff, my fiance and I stopped in. All of our questions wete answered. Great central location.

Lake Lytal Park - West Palm Beach Marisa: Stopped by here since my flight was delayed. It’s only 8 min from the airport. Walked around a bit. Small playground, not much seating. The fields were locked. Some people playing basketball. There seems to be a community pool that has restrooms we used. The pool is huge and has plenty of lanes for swimming. There were parked police cars.

Loggerhead Marinelife Center - Juno Beach Matthew Wells: Cool place to see sea turtles, nurse sharks, and some other sea fish species up close. The facility is clean, staff is professional, they did a live fish feeding when we were there and narrated some facts to the audience about the fish species. The site also has a standard gift shop on the way out. Entrance fee here is by donation only, so give whatever you think is appropriate. For a donation only facility, it’s very well ran and very well taken care of. My wife and I were all around impressed.

The Society of the Four Arts - Palm Beach John: Well-maintained and beautiful garden that’s perfect for a quick walk through or quiet contemplation. It gets pretty busy on the weekends but most people leave pretty quickly. The parking is somewhat limited, but you can usually find a space. The gardens have really cool permanent sculptures and also temporary art exhibits to check out throughout the year. The buildings adjacent also include a library and small theatre that holds exhibits and concerts.

Post Park - West Palm Beach Marsha Collins: The views here are just stunning, pure Florida paradise! That oceanfront is something else, absolutely breathtaking. It’s the kind of place that makes you never want to leave. Honestly, if I could live there, I would in a heartbeat!

R. G. Kreusler Park - Palm Beach Jane Santiago: Such a lovely park with postcard-worthy views! It’s got restrooms, water fountains, and plenty of benches for relaxing. Perfect spot for a peaceful morning stroll, a picnic, or even beach access if youre up for it.

Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge - Boynton Beach Paul Marban: Nice, quiet and off the beaten path reserve! I went in the middle of the day on a Monday and it was very quiet. There is a short walk in a Cypress Swamp by the visitor center (first two photos) and a mile long loop around a drainage area (second two photos) along with a connection to the main reserve area at the end of the main road (not pictured). You are very exposed to the elements so be sure to bring a hat and sun protection clothes!

Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum - West Palm Beach k rumker: If it wasnt for a cold rainy Florida day I may have missed this gem. In looking for something to do on a no beach day I stumbled on this museum. Well worth the visit and a great local history lesson.

Apoxee Trail - West Palm Beach jenny chamudis: What s beautiful trail to walk through! Ive always lived nearby and finally decided to give it a try. Everyone on the trail was extremely friendly and the paths were very clear on where to go. Im definitely coming back.

Loggerhead Park - Juno Beach Paige Klein: This is a great place to take younger kids. I took my older son and he also loved it. There is a café, playground, educational areas throughout and so much to see and learn. Behind it is a beautiful beach with the most perfect shells. There was a wall dedicated to trash shaped like Coral reefs. We saw sharks, turtles that are being rehabilitated, sea horses, its of fish, and jelly fish. If a school were to take a field trip there are lots of tables to sit and eat their own lunch if needed. They dont charge a fee, but ask for donations. There are videos playing in an area where the sea horses and jelly fish were.
