R. G. Kreusler Park - Palm Beach Jane Santiago: Such a lovely park with postcard-worthy views! It’s got restrooms, water fountains, and plenty of benches for relaxing. Perfect spot for a peaceful morning stroll, a picnic, or even beach access if youre up for it.
Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge - Boynton Beach Paul Marban: Nice, quiet and off the beaten path reserve! I went in the middle of the day on a Monday and it was very quiet. There is a short walk in a Cypress Swamp by the visitor center (first two photos) and a mile long loop around a drainage area (second two photos) along with a connection to the main reserve area at the end of the main road (not pictured). You are very exposed to the elements so be sure to bring a hat and sun protection clothes!
Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum - West Palm Beach k rumker: If it wasnt for a cold rainy Florida day I may have missed this gem. In looking for something to do on a no beach day I stumbled on this museum. Well worth the visit and a great local history lesson.
Apoxee Trail - West Palm Beach jenny chamudis: What s beautiful trail to walk through! Ive always lived nearby and finally decided to give it a try. Everyone on the trail was extremely friendly and the paths were very clear on where to go. Im definitely coming back.
Loggerhead Park - Juno Beach Paige Klein: This is a great place to take younger kids. I took my older son and he also loved it. There is a café, playground, educational areas throughout and so much to see and learn. Behind it is a beautiful beach with the most perfect shells. There was a wall dedicated to trash shaped like Coral reefs. We saw sharks, turtles that are being rehabilitated, sea horses, its of fish, and jelly fish. If a school were to take a field trip there are lots of tables to sit and eat their own lunch if needed. They dont charge a fee, but ask for donations. There are videos playing in an area where the sea horses and jelly fish were.
Juno Beach Park - Juno Beach A Plus Mold Remediation Inc.: Juno Beach Park is a hidden gem on Florida’s east coast! This beautiful beach offers soft sand, clear blue water, and a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing day in the sun. The park is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of parking, restrooms, and outdoor showers — making it super convenient for families and beach lovers. The iconic Juno Beach Pier is a must-see, whether you’re fishing or just enjoying the view. We even spotted some sea turtles nearby, which was a magical bonus! The vibe is laid-back, and it’s not as crowded as other South Florida beaches, which makes it feel like your own little paradise. If you’re looking for a safe, beautiful, and family-friendly beach with natural charm, Juno Beach Park is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!
Nancy M. Graham Centennial Square - West Palm Beach william snyder: When I’m in Florida. We always make a trip down to the Saturday Market in West Palm Beach . You name it . You will find it . From celebrities to Homeless all mingling together in the beautiful Sunshine and Giant palm trees , Very laid back atmosphere. No pressure. Nothing but blocks and blocks of vendors looking to satisfy your ever desire. They are easy to bargain with and talk to . I will upgrade this review because there is just so much to see and do . Great restaurants as you would expect on Clementis st. Starting at the Inter coastal that filled with the biggest yachts you will probably ever see lined up in what seems like a forever line . It’s amazing. Than the park itself is very big . With plenty of breathing room so you never feel cramped. They do have a lot of events here , Concerts and gatherings, But I’m more the market type . It will most likely a casual walk take about 1/2 hr from end to end of the market, That’s if something grabs your attention like some out of this world different food you didn’t even know existed , And just got to try . To clothing , And Jewelry. Sharks teeth. And fresh steaks and of course seafood. Plan on spending the day here because a few hrs isn’t gonna cut it . Parking is free on Saturday at the garage. Can’t disclose where I park because you all will be snagging up my spot . Feel free to bring your kids . And your furry kids also as it’s pet friendly. There is a lot of security so safety is not an issue. So go Enjoy. West Palm Welcome you .
Wakodahatchee Wetlands - Delray Beach Kim Knight: Wonderful experience, especially when the babies are in the nests. Its pretty noisy, but very interesting as there are so many different species. Beautiful walk along the boardwalk. Puts you right into their habitat. Couple covered areas to sit and enjoy the shade. I highly recommend going very early in the morning to avoid the heat, because starting at 10 am, it rises to inferno setting. Great experience for everyone! There are restrooms in the parking area which is great!
John Prince Park - Lake Worth Beach Angela Williams: My daughter had an amazing time here. Nice splash pad area with playgrounds all around it. People jet skiing and children having so much fun. We will be back soon. Park is well kept. So glad I decided to go here. Took a while to make my mind up. I’m very picky about where I take my child to engage with other children but I made a great choice.
Snook Islands Natural Area - Lake Worth Beach Michael Jimenez: I stopped by here on my motorcycle while riding around. Good spot to relax and take a break. Beautiful views and plenty of areas to go fishing as well.
