Get ready to see many warbler species: Chestnut-sided, Worm-eating, American redstart, Blue and Golden-winged, Cerulean, Hooded, Ovenbird, Black&White, Orange-crowned, Kentucky, Tennessee, Common yellowthroat, Northern parula, Magnolia, Bay-breasted, Yellow-throated, Prairie, Black-throated Green, Louisiana and Northern waterthrush. Many great thrush species: Swainsons, Gray-cheeked, Veery, Wood, and Hermit late in the season. Along the shore of Lake Jackson you will see many wintering duck/shorebird species as well. During the Spring/Summer you have nesting Eastern Kingbirds, Great-crested flycatchers, Indigo buntings and Blue grosbeaks.
