4 /5 Joe San: Good part of this Drop Ride is that when it reaches the top, the seats are turned to completely face down, so we drop face down. A good second or 2 of microgravity. They are serious about no loose items here.

5 /5 Stephan Roman: Wow this ride is quick and intense! My girlfriend did not want to ride it at first but I finally talked her into it. I also did not tell her that once you reach the top the chairs extend out the point you face down as you drop. Its a very quick ride but the adrenaline rush is amazing. Only disappointing thing is sometimes the ride is not in operation. But I give it 4 stars just on the adrenaline rush. If youre ever at Busch Gardens Tampa this is a must ride attraction!

Nestled right on the Garrison Channel in the heart of downtown Tampa, it’s basically Tampa’s version of Central Park… if Central Park had waterfront views, easy parking, and far fewer pigeons trying to steal your snacks. The walking paths are wide and pristine — honestly, I’ve seen hospital floors with more debris than these sidewalks. I took a leisurely walk while pretending I was in a Nike commercial (in reality, I was moving at the pace of a mildly motivated sloth). The landscaping? Immaculate. It’s as if the trees were hand-selected by a panel of the most discerning squirrels in Florida. Palm trees, oak trees, and even some lovely patches of grass that practically beg you to lay down and contemplate your life choices. Now, let’s talk about people-watching. Cotanchobee is basically a live-action documentary called “Humans of Tampa”. You’ve got joggers who are clearly training for the Olympics, tourists trying to figure out if the Riverwalk leads to Disney (spoiler: it doesn’t), and adorable dogs living their absolute best lives. I saw one dachshund in a tiny Tampa Bay Lightning jersey and honestly, that alone was worth the trip. For families, the playground is fantastic — modern, safe, and surprisingly resistant to the gravitational pull of wild toddlers. Plus, there’s public art sprinkled throughout the park that makes you feel like you accidentally became cultured just by walking by. Water views? Stunning. You can watch boats drift by and pretend you’re about to make a dramatic yacht purchase (even if your bank account says otherwise). And if you time it right, the sunsets are so beautiful they should probably be illegal. In conclusion, Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park is where relaxation, scenic beauty, and premium people-watching collide. Whether you want to exercise, meditate, or just spy on humanity like a friendly neighborhood raccoon (no judgment), this park delivers. 5 out of 5 stars. Will absolutely return — possibly tomorrow.

Tampa Riverwalk - Tampa Lona D: Absolutely stunning walk! Very clean, friendly people and wonderful view. I feel very safe around the area, and it’s one of those places I could sit and stare at the water at for hours. If you’re staying at one of the hotels along it, it’s extremely convenient and a fun way to kill time at night. You can also see fish in the water!

Tampa Big Letters - Melissa Previte: A must stop if you are visiting Tampa, heading to a Lightning game, or just walking to Sparkmans. Its a pretty open area and right at the Trolly Stop. Its always being decorated for special events or holidays, so its fun to see what they come up with next! My visit this time was hockey inspired! Love it!

Parque Jose Marti - Tampa Elizabeth Dunn: A Hidden Gem – José Martí Park in Tampa is a beautiful space and peaceful oasis right in the heart of Tampa. The park is well-maintained and offers a perfect spot for families to relax. It’s not very large, but it’s great for those looking to learn more about Tampa’s history, as the park honors the legacy of José Martí. Not to mention it’s officially owned by the people of Cuba, making it one of the only pieces of Cuban soil in the United States. Whether you’re visiting for a family outing or just a quiet moment, José Martí Park is a wonderful place to unwind.

Tampa Police Museum - Tampa Andrew Pitts: If you have any interest in law enforcement history, this is the place to go! The volunteers have a lot of cool stories to tell and you can experience some really cool things. There’s a full sized patrol car and a police helicopter! So cool!

Tampa History Center Dock #3 - Tampa Denise Howell: This museum offers truly amazing videos depicting historical times in Tampa with some immersive experiences to boot! The kids will love it.

Water Street - Tampa Jorge Chavez: As a professional photographer, I find Water Street Tampa to be the most sophisticated trending part of the Tampa bay area. Especially around the holidays, with the entire street light up with Christams lights, every very spot is a great spot to take a memorable portrait.

Centennial Park - Tampa Roland M: Its a beautiful park to visit when there is an event going. Although harmless, there are a lot of unhoused people who will ask you for food or money. The park also houses plenty of free roaming chickens and roosters with beautiful colors.

Tampa Riverwalk - Tampa Redonda Murray: Great place to get a good walk, run, or bike ride next to the water. Plenty of space on the trail. Awesome scenes throughout. Park for the little ones. Restaurants, bars, and clubs to grab a meal or a nice cocktail. You can go on a boat tour or rent water equipment. If its a good day, you might catch a glimpse of dolphins playing in the water.

Penguin Beach - Tampa Abel Abad: It was so amazing, my children were so happy, we didn’t know that in Africa life penguins. Great experience
