5 /5 Bill C.: This is a hidden gem in Manatee County. If you want a local review of African American culture and influence, this is a must visit. It has many unique exhibits that you wouldnt find anywhere else. My advice is to schedule a tour as soon as possible. Kathie Marsh was my excellent guide through this well organized facility. Oh, did I mention it is FREE! It also has a childrens area. Schedule your visit soon. I highly recommend it.

Manatee Mineral Spring Park - Bradenton Miss Priss: This is a great park to visit. Lots of parking space. We did a little fishing there. Theres a small dock with two benches for seating but no shade anywhere for fishing. My only complaint would be theres such a long walk to get to the ponds for fishing. If youre taking lots of equipment, bring a wagon.

Portosueno Park - Bradenton Saska Madilka: Very lovely place.. and My dream came true here, to see manatees.. ❤️ few people stopped by and confirmed that captain from their boat cruises do formed that this is the place where you can most probably spot these lovely creatures in this area❤️

Emerson Point Preserve - Palmetto Brenda Barber: I love to ride my bike there. Speed bumps keep cars slow. Walking trails, drive to sit on the beach for great sunsets. I need to try kayaking. Rentals available. Its a preserve so be respectful to the environment. Free to enter.

Lake Manatee State Park - Bradenton Jennifer Eastburn: Lake Manatee State Park is a hidden gem! The park is on the smaller side, which actually makes it feel more peaceful and easy to explore. Everything was super clean and well-maintained. We really enjoyed the beach-style swimming area—it was perfect for a relaxing day by the water. There are plenty of picnic spots and the trails were clearly marked and nicely cleared. We’ll definitely be going back!

Captain Bam’s Jungle Float - Bradenton Beach Konrad Sojko: Captain Bams Jungle Float gave us one of the best experiences we’ve ever had on the water! From start to finish, everything was full of fun, laughter, and unforgettable moments. The float was packed with exciting features — slides, trampolines, and room to relax — making it perfect for all ages. Captain Bams and the crew were beyond amazing: friendly, professional, and made everyone feel safe and welcome. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in every detail. If youre visiting Bradenton, this is an absolute must-do. Thank you for the incredible memories — we’ll definitely be back!

CoastLine Dolphin & Snorkeling Excursions - Bradenton Timothy Pedregon: First let me apologize to the wonderful people at Coastline… I’ve been back a week and it has taken me this long to write a review… with that said here goes nothing. First off top notch Captain that was both informative about the local plants and animals and the local history. Back home, my wife and I are in the travel and tourism industry, with me being a guide myself. So it is an absolute pleasure to have someone show me around as I would show others around. John was amazing in this regard. My wife, who is not terribly comfortable in the water felt reassured by having such an expert guide. I got to see Dolphins, a Bald Eagle, Turtles, and a Manatee… many of those were on my bucket list. The boat was clean and well kept. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to see Egmont Key, and the surrounding area. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!

Ana Maria island - Bradenton Beach Liz Vaz: This is my Go to beach!! One of The Best beaches in the area. Absolutely Love this Beach. Clean rest rooms. Changing booths. Concession stand. Ice cream snow cones American burgers with fries. Food options are great. A tikki bar music throughout the area. White sand clear waters. Its the Spot for the perfect beach day. Very well recommended.
