1 /5 Paul Piscitelli: Dr Koyama is a skilled surgeon. His office is horrible. He did surgery last year for implants. His assistant Cynthia was wonderful. All went well but I had a few problems with the outer office. I chose to overlook it when I made a new appointment to have an infected tooth pulled. My appointment was today at 2. I arrived 1:50 , filled out new insurance paperwork. At 230 asked when Id be seen. I was told shortly. I told her my wife was waiting in the car. At 245 I told the woman behind the glass my definition of shortly is different than hers. I asked her to check, she came back and said they were cleaning up the room. At 3 they finally came for me. I asked if the Dr planned on pulling the tooth, she said no, only a consult. I said I dont want or need the consultation the X-ray and scan my dentist sent clearly shows an infection. She also stated they took the wrong Paul back at 230. I told her to tell the Dr I waited over an hour. I left. As this is the second time the Dr ran late due to being called the the hospital for emergency surgery without his office having the consideration consideration to advise his patients that he would be running hour late. I put that blame on the Dr. for being inconsiderate of his patients time.
His paperwork states if your 30 min late you will be charged $100.00... whats good for the goose....
Needless to say I found a new surgeon.
