As an active duty military member, I was recently approved for emergency leave due to the passing of my father, and I urgently needed a hairstylist for the funeral.
While looking for options on StyleSeat, I mistakenly booked an appointment with Giovanni Luxe, thinking it was nearby. However, I later realized the salon was over three hours away, and I do not have transportation to make that trip. When I reached out for assistance in canceling the appointment and obtaining my deposit back—something StyleSeat indicated she had the ability to do—I was met with frustration.
Instead of receiving helpful guidance, I felt I was given the runaround. Her response barely addressed my concerns, and I was left without a clear resolution. This level of customer service is incredibly disheartening, especially for someone in my situation. If this is the treatment prospective clients can expect, I can only imagine how she treats those who have already booked. I hope her future clients have a better experience than I did.
