05-2025 Hair by santos in The Best 19 Hair Salon in Tavares, Lake Country First Impressions Barbershop & Hair Salon - Tavares Anthony Resto: Apparently, the barber named Anthony is award winning. I went in for a fade, and my son got a cut as well. He was super quick, professional, and precise. I had a hard time finding a barber in this area to give me a haircut like back on Jersey. This guy is on point. Im definitely going back every 2 weeks. He also had colored spray for my sons hair. My wife was impressed.
Fantastic Sams Cut & Color - Tavares Melody Welch: One of the stylists will totally ignore your requests and do what she wants. What I got was exactly what I didnt want. I wear a scarf or hat in public. Ashton, on the other hand, will do a fantastic job. Definitely should have waited for her. I just did not think that anyone would do this, and was in a rush. Dont bother to offer a free cut. There is nothing left to work with.
Great Clips - Tavares AJ Davis: This was an awesome experience! I didnt catch the stylists name, she had dark long curly hair, she was awesome!! Very personable and professional. She gave me great advice and was overall very nice. I will definitely request her next time!
Luxury Hair and Nail Spa - Tavares Brenda Craven: I have been going here since they opened. Ben was always there, and very polite, and made sure you had what you needed. Ben is no longer in the salon, and you can definitely tell. A month ago I had a pedicure by a lady who spoke no English or understood it either. Not a problem until she cut my skin with the cuticle clippers. She put antiseptic on it, but it blead for a while. Ok, accidents happen. Flash forward. Two weeks ago, I came un and again got the same lady. This time on the same foot, my left, she ran the rough file across my 3rd and 4th toe and tore the skin off!!!!! Then proceeded to put some kind of lotion that softens your heals on them. I felt like my toes had a hot match on them. I spoke to Kim afterwards, showed her my hurt toes, all she said was ok ok. No sorry nothing! A few days later I went bk in and spoke to Kim again to show what my toes looked like after a few days. Again, ok ok we not give you her no more. NO APOLOGIES! I will not be going back anymore. Photo of my toes. No polish is the day it happened, close up is a few days later, and the other is two wks later
Hair Fair Designers Barber Shp - Eustis Alyssa Farineau: I requested a bob haircut. I called ahead of time and asked if she knew how to cut a bob. Kathy said yes and that she’s been in business for 20-25 years.
My hair is not the angled bob I wanted. I even showed her a photo of exactly what I wanted. My hair is all one length with the exception of jagged edges where some is slightly longer than the rest. Super irritating.
Two stars because she was nice. Negative three stars for telling me she could do something she couldn’t. Won’t come here again. Super disappointed as now my hair is too short to have someone fix it until it grows back out.
5 Stars Barbers - Tavares Jay Wiencko: Precision cut and beard trim. Danny really does a great job. An excellent local barbershop with a clean upbeat vibe.
Pay-Per-Klip Salon & Spa - Eustis Missy Oliver: Back in the area after being gone for a few years & was recommended by a friend to check this place out. I was not disappointed. Jessica did an amazing job with my highlights, especially blending in my incoming "white" hair. And Joy took me from below the shoulder all 1 length to the most adorable asymmetrical bob, which I adore. The service is impeccable! Highly recommend! Check them out!!!
Heavenly Hair Studio 17 - Howey-In-The-Hills Scott Kearney: My hair stylist retired, so Ive been searching for a new one. Stopped by and talked to a few places, but nothing click. Coming home from the store a couple of weeks ago, I stopped in the Heavenly Hills Studio 17 in downtown Howey in the Hills on Central Avenue. I met the owner Ivy, and we spent some time chatting about hair and other things. Decided this was the place, and she was the stylist for me. I had let my hair grow long for me, and was tired of the no style look. We talked about styles I liked and my personality, and she was ready to cut. The style she cut was perfect! As a matter of fact, my husband said it was the best hair cut he has seen on me. Ivy was professional, very friendly and it was obvious she enjoys what she does! I highly recommend Ivy to anyone looking for a great stylist!
