5 /5 Darlene Kemp: This home and museum is outstanding! We spent four hours touring the home and learning about all of the items and activities the Flaglers had and did. They were fortunate enough to have electricity, indoor plumbing, and even phones. The decorations are beautiful! The design of each room is interesting and gives the room a certain flair. Learning about how the Flaglers lived and who their friends were, and even how many times Mrs Flagler changed her clothes in a day was quite interesting. It was up to 7 times. I also found it interesting to learn about the three levels of maids or servants. There seemed to be a hierarchy, no matter what economic level a person was at. The grounds are meticulously maintained as well as the outside of the house. It was an absolute joy to tour this home and to learn about all the Flaglers did for the community back in their day and their generosity continues today.
