4 /5 Rose Thomas: Really enjoyed seeing this historic tree in person. There’s also a nice walking path next to it, along the water. It’s a little tricky to find, but take the path in front of the Flagler museum, past the gate to the end and then take a right.

5 /5 Judy Sun: Its behind the church. The area has a fence. There is a path that leads to the backside of the church. A large part of the tree can be seen from that side. It is impressive how big this tree is.

5 /5 Cheryl Tibaudo: Very cool to see! Just don’t go to the street address provided as that is a private fenced yard. Park in the Flagler Museum lot and follow the path to the left of the museum entrance, along the fence.

Lake Lytal Park - West Palm Beach Marisa: Stopped by here since my flight was delayed. It’s only 8 min from the airport. Walked around a bit. Small playground, not much seating. The fields were locked. Some people playing basketball. There seems to be a community pool that has restrooms we used. The pool is huge and has plenty of lanes for swimming. There were parked police cars.

Loggerhead Marinelife Center - Juno Beach Matthew Wells: Cool place to see sea turtles, nurse sharks, and some other sea fish species up close. The facility is clean, staff is professional, they did a live fish feeding when we were there and narrated some facts to the audience about the fish species. The site also has a standard gift shop on the way out. Entrance fee here is by donation only, so give whatever you think is appropriate. For a donation only facility, it’s very well ran and very well taken care of. My wife and I were all around impressed.

The Society of the Four Arts - Palm Beach John: Well-maintained and beautiful garden that’s perfect for a quick walk through or quiet contemplation. It gets pretty busy on the weekends but most people leave pretty quickly. The parking is somewhat limited, but you can usually find a space. The gardens have really cool permanent sculptures and also temporary art exhibits to check out throughout the year. The buildings adjacent also include a library and small theatre that holds exhibits and concerts.

Post Park - West Palm Beach Marsha Collins: The views here are just stunning, pure Florida paradise! That oceanfront is something else, absolutely breathtaking. It’s the kind of place that makes you never want to leave. Honestly, if I could live there, I would in a heartbeat!

R. G. Kreusler Park - Palm Beach Jane Santiago: Such a lovely park with postcard-worthy views! It’s got restrooms, water fountains, and plenty of benches for relaxing. Perfect spot for a peaceful morning stroll, a picnic, or even beach access if youre up for it.

Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge - Boynton Beach Paul Marban: Nice, quiet and off the beaten path reserve! I went in the middle of the day on a Monday and it was very quiet. There is a short walk in a Cypress Swamp by the visitor center (first two photos) and a mile long loop around a drainage area (second two photos) along with a connection to the main reserve area at the end of the main road (not pictured). You are very exposed to the elements so be sure to bring a hat and sun protection clothes!

Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum - West Palm Beach k rumker: If it wasnt for a cold rainy Florida day I may have missed this gem. In looking for something to do on a no beach day I stumbled on this museum. Well worth the visit and a great local history lesson.

Apoxee Trail - West Palm Beach jenny chamudis: What s beautiful trail to walk through! Ive always lived nearby and finally decided to give it a try. Everyone on the trail was extremely friendly and the paths were very clear on where to go. Im definitely coming back.

Loggerhead Park - Juno Beach Paige Klein: This is a great place to take younger kids. I took my older son and he also loved it. There is a café, playground, educational areas throughout and so much to see and learn. Behind it is a beautiful beach with the most perfect shells. There was a wall dedicated to trash shaped like Coral reefs. We saw sharks, turtles that are being rehabilitated, sea horses, its of fish, and jelly fish. If a school were to take a field trip there are lots of tables to sit and eat their own lunch if needed. They dont charge a fee, but ask for donations. There are videos playing in an area where the sea horses and jelly fish were.

Juno Beach Park - Juno Beach A Plus Mold Remediation Inc.: Juno Beach Park is a hidden gem on Florida’s east coast! The park is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of parking, restrooms, and outdoor showers — making it super convenient for families and beach lovers. The iconic Juno Beach Pier is a must-see, whether you’re fishing or just enjoying the view. We even spotted some sea turtles nearby, which was a magical bonus! The vibe is laid-back, and it’s not as crowded as other South Florida beaches, which makes it feel like your own little paradise. If you’re looking for a safe, beautiful, and family-friendly beach with natural charm, Juno Beach Park is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!
