5 /5 Andres R.-Ojea: I can only say great things about all the nurses, doctors and overall staff at the 6th and 7th floors, who took such great care of our baby. It was very hard seeing him being poked in every arm and foot, but we know it was to get him healthy, and everyone was extremely kind to him and to us. Thank you!!!

1 /5 Borisevich Anastasia: We ended up at Holtz Children’s Hospital ER by chance when I noticed something in my child’s ear that looked like a tick. I deeply regret coming here. After waiting for 3 hours, all they did was check my child’s temperature and blood pressure and then use a simple swab to remove a tiny object from her ear. The bill? A shocking $1,956! The staff at the hospital was polite and friendly, but no one warned us about the pricing. There were no price lists anywhere, and at no point did anyone mention how much such a simple procedure would cost. Had I known, I would have gone elsewhere. Our insurance covered half of it, leaving us with a $978 balance. I contacted them multiple times - called, sent an official letter, spoke with a representative - asking for an adjustment. No luck. Today, I got a call from debt collectors demanding full payment. I do not recommend this ER.

1 /5 martin concepcion: Holtz children hospital was a disaster. The care provided by the doctors was decent but apart from that everything else was a constant tug of war to get things done in a timely fashion. The amount of times we heard “the order was never placed” or “ this person didn’t brief me” in the span of 2 days. We were told at 9am that we would be discharged by the doctor. Then at noon we followed up to see what’s as pending. The doctor had never put the order for discharge in. Then he put the order for discharge in pending antibiotics be delivered to the room. An hour later we inquire about the antibiotics and were told if we walk downstairs to the pharmacy and get them it would be faster than waiting another hour or two for them to be delivered to the room. We get down to the pharmacy and they advise to allow them 20 minutes to prepare the antibiotics. An hour later of waiting in the pharmacy the antibiotics still aren’t ready. From 9am that the doctor said he was going to put the order for discharge in and we did not leave until 5pm. They do not value their patients time at this hospital. And make you do all of the follow up and leg work. Terrible experience and will not be coming back here.

5 /5 Alex D: Im so grateful for the wonderful nurses, doctors and staff that took care of me throughout such a stressful week at the hospital due to having complications in my pregnancy. Everyone really made going through this whole experience especially my c section, SO much better. Im thankful to EVERYONE, especially the nurses and doctors at the NICU for taking great care of my son! Were now home and I will never forget my experience here. Thank you everyone for all the work that you do and the support you give!! And thank you so much for taking care of my son!

3 /5 Mafe: The service and care in the rooms is great. The staff is nice and courteous and I found the doctors to be very professional and kind. My issue is that aesthetically this place looks like it’s falling apart. They really need to upgrade the room features because they’re stuck in like the 70s. The bed for the room companion is also very uncomfortable. You can see what I’m referring to from the photos I’m posting. The rooms have a bathroom but it was gross. There is a small fridge in the rooms but right by it we saw a large roach and they offered us a different room but it looked worse than the one we had. It smelled like a storage room.
